So Universal makes an "Epic" announcement this morning then this shows up on the D23 schedule for Saturday. Curious if its parks related even though it has its own panel on Sunday??

Oi! Você não é adorável! Eu acho que eles não poderiam te chamar de "painel em um novo pavilhão nacional, mas não vamos dizer qual deles."

Eu acho.

Keep expectations in check, people. It says “Secret Walt Disney Company Project”. Could be anything, sure, but sounds like a corporate-wide thing. Like the paying for cast member tuition program they announced recently, or some sort of “We’re going to be 100% on renewable energy” initiative.

You wanna make something that’s mildly interesting sound super interesting? Slap a Top Secret label on it.

But who knows, maybe it’s something amazing, yeah.

Its nothing, look at the date of when its suppose to happen and then look at the actual Saturday for D23. Its someone trying to be funny.

Interesting. It is in stage 28 so it's not going to fill a huge, huge crowd like Hall D23, but it's interesting that they chose August 22nd to announce this "project" beforehand.

It is a little curious that it will actually be announced on Thursday the 22nd, and this Saturday event is for... more details, I guess?

So it sounds more substantial than a corporate PR post trying to make itself sound bigger than it really is.

Ok, now I’m interested... and will be let down.

Almost as if there will be some sort of visible manifestation of the project in one of the exhibits that people will see on the floor Friday morning, so they better announce it beforehand, even though they won’t really talk about it until Saturday.

o_O

But, if it’s parks related, why not just include it in the parks presentation? So it probably isn’t a model or something like that.

Some new interactive product on display?

The thing getting me is: what needs to be announced beforehand and also needs an hour long presentation? I can't think of hardly anything except...

Of course, keep expectations as low as possible, but truly this is a head scratcher.

It is all falling in place o_O

Unless they decide to redo all of Toon Town to match that art style. Then I'll be upset. I hope a Toon Town remodel isn't announced at D23...

(It is just my theory. Nothing official lol)

We already have a parks panel to pin our announcement hopes against - why do people feel they need a second?

DO NOT think it is parks related. The parks panel is the parks panel.

I think we should place our D23 prediction bets. Let’s do a pool. Winner gets $100 souvenir.
