I predict..not much.
Star Tours - Pretty definately.
Little bit about SM refurb - 20% chance. Maybe a little tidbit or two.
Fantasyland/Mermaid - 50/50. Wouldn't surprise me at all. It's gonna happen, so they might as well talk about it at the best venue they'll have this year.
Other - There are a couple more things floating around, like more refurbs (Jungle...)but I would be surprised to see them mentioned.

Mostly, look for DCA info. Carsland and whatnot. Possibly a bit about the Hong Kong additions.

I would agree, but for some reason my gut says Fantasyland is going to be announced at some later date.:shrug:

Speaking of which, however, I've heard it's almost a definite for this year. Have you heard the saem/close to the same?

What would be included in a Jungle Cruise rehab, if they
were going to do it right? Just curious, because for me,
the ride works "as is" . . . I like the animatronics, and the Captains
really make everything work, (even when everything isn't working, lol)

Of course the ride works as is! It's one of the very best in WDW.

What I was told, is a few new effects will be added to the ride, as well as everything that was there having their systems upgraded to work better, etc.

And P.S. we're skippers, not captains.:p

What I think will definitely be announced:

What I think is very likely:
Fantasyland Makeover

What is less likely but would not shock me:
An indication on the 2010 Ad Campaign
Space Mountain concept art or announcements
Soarin' Over the World

Anyway, yeah--a refurb like HM, where everything is just tweaked and polished would be supremely awesome.

somewhere, sometime, somebody is going to get some new state of the art audio animatronics, one of which will be previewed at the expo.

at least, that's what I thought I read. :D

I have no inside information - only my slightly dented magic 8 ball.

My predictions (*shake, shake, shake*) :

Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom,
a new Fantasyland, with plans. . .

Removal of the hat and new animatronics for the Great Movie Ride at Disney Hollywood Studios

a new land at Disney Animal Kingdom, and

more Figment at Epcot.

Okay, that's as much a wish list as anything. Don't read anything into it. Just making my low cost, long shot bets before the season begins. :D

I have already gone on record. Star Tours 2 will be announced it will be the first true e-ticket since Indy in DL. It will be innovative and next gen and include a space battle and pod racing as well as charecters Darth Vader and the two headed dude from TPM. Basically incorporating all 6 films. Captain EO will be returning to Disneyland. New details will be provided on the DCA rennovation including lushous new Little Mermaid and Carsland art and models and some new details about the park. The announcement for Shanghai is ready to go but they may delay it pending on the Chinese governments wishes.

In addition there is a surprise planned for each day's film presentation. Pirates 4 (Friday) and Winnie The Pooh (Sunday) although Lasseter announced it today in London jumping the gun (strange..)

I think DCA will be the big head liner at the Expo but this is what I think might be said.

DL- Captain Eo, Star Tours, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, Tiana's Showboat Jubilee,

DCA- World of Color, Little Mermaid, Carsland, and Buena Vista Street.

WDW-Star Tours, Tiana's Showboat Jubilee, Space Mountain

HKDL- more info on Toy Story land, Mystic Point and Grizzly Trail

TDR- Toy Story Midway Mania! at TDS

DLRP- 20th Anniversary, and a big maybe on Ratatouille

DVC-Hawaii and Grand Californian

World of Color has an hour presentation on Friday, but I think the overall winner of the Expo will be Carsland.

In your mind what constitutes an E-Ticket? Are you saying that there haven't been any E-Tickets built in Disneyland since 1995? In the main park I would agree with you, as I don't put Nemo's Submarine Voyage on that scale. I suppose you could also argue that Space Mountain was re-built as an E-Ticket from whatever level you want to place it prior to the refurbishment.

If you are saying that no E-Ticket has been built stateside since Indy than I would vehemently disagree with that.

All funds will be directed towards a massive EPCOT rehab over the next five years; even bigger than the current rehab underway at DCA.

It will include:
- Mt. Fuji rollercoaster ride
- Bullet Train ride
- Meet the World
- German Rhine River Cruise
- Italian walk-through ruins
- Conversion of Akershus back to a real restaurant after Norway picks up sponsorship again
- They'll build Spain
- They'll build Venezuela
- They'll build something else African
(i'm sure I forgot something - there is just SO MUCH NEW STUFF GOING IN AT WORLD SHOWCASE!)

in Future World:
- A complete rebuild of an updated HORIZONS attraction in the space formerly occupied by Wonders of Life
- Test Track will be sponsored by Toyota and gutted, then rebuilt showcasing the latest in green transportation
- A complete remodel of UoE showcasing green technologies
- original Journey into Imagination - brought back and updated; upstairs reopened
- Hydrolators and Films brought back to the Seas (Nemo will be left in)
- natural light will once again stream into Innoventions as they uncover all of the windows
- stupid tarps & spinny things will come down in Innoventions plaza

ok, so they might not announce *all* of this...
