So what are the odds that they're gonna announce that they're FINALLY gonna fix the Yeti...?

I doubt the yeti will ever get fixed, but it definitely won't get fixed until after all tropical americas. They can't afford for the ride to be down any significant amount of time without many more attractions.

saying what big things they announce won't be delivered for a number of years and won't end up being exactly as the concept art looks like isn't negative or pessimistic... it's fact and reality... nothing more.

I would love for those shovels to have already been in the ground and big things opening next year, but they have drug their feet, and now we have to wait for whatever they announce to actually be built and happen.

Focusing on only the negative aspects of something is without a doubt negative and pessimistic.

We know things will take time and will be years away. It doesn’t really need to be stated constantly or be used to diminish the announcements and people’s excitement surrounding them.
