If a new dragon is indeed in the works for DL's Fantasmic!, an announcement here would be a home run for the local crowd there.

Similar to how HEA's return announcement at the last D23 was a home run for the locals there.

Haven't seen this mentioned on many people's predictions, but I think it's likely/given.

HEA return was actually announced at Anaheim but I see what you mean. The crowd will go wild for Murphy's return.

I was hoping for an appearance by Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow to announce a new Pirates movie last night, sadly it was not to be.

ITM servers wouldn’t have been able to handle the traffic.

Not by visitors, but publishing and story updates.

My guesses for WDW, with the first 5 of these before end of 2025:

• MK evening parade
• HS afternoon parade
• Minor show replacement at DHS
• Test Track 3.0 details
• It’s Tough to Be a Bug details
• Indy at Tropical Americas
• Encanto at TA
• Coco at TA

Then some land/area concept stuff for years 3-5. I’ll go out on a limb and guess Villains at MK, but no special knowledge there. Maybe EPCOT?

The Turning Red director is doing Pixar’s next theatrical release.

Dispelling there is a lack of director diversity.

with the multi year transformation of EPCOT over, I think the villains are done with their work

I disagree - DHS often has the longest wait times of any park.

While DAK has a low number of traditional attractions- there are so many extras like the animal trails, conservation station, etc. it spreads the crowds out nicely.

Now DAK does need a new night time show - even if it’s something fairly simple, not a “spectacular.” Disneyland had the jazz band concert on the rivers of America when Fantasmic was down… something as simple as that with some like cultural music would at least liven up the place!
