Recently, in a thread about negative reactions from friends to our obsessions with WDW, I replied to a post about "the eyeroll". (You know, that look you get when you say you're going - again.) Well, I said something along the lines of being sick of "the eyeroll" and my first reaction is a desire to rip those eyes right out of their heads. I went on to say, that I then remind myself that my friends don't get WDW and I have to deal with it. Something like that.
Well, I got a response to that saying that it's a good thing I'm not representative of all WDW fans since my response was so violent! Plus other things in that vein!!!!!
I was so upset! Me!!! Violent!!!! I am so far removed from violent it is laughable. Only I didn't laugh. Being judged like that was very upsetting to me. Very. I responded that of course I would not actually ever do anything like that. I was trying to make a point. That was all. He accepted my answer. But it changed the way I answer things. I don't like being misunderstood. I try to be very careful not to offend anyone with a post. Maybe I shouldn't care, but I do. I'm a really nice person. Really I am. And everyone in my real life knows that. It is harder to get that point across here. But I try.
