Crystal Palace Character Breakfast

Went to the Crystal Palace for breakfast for the very first time last summer and fell in love with it! I think the restaurant itself is gorgeous! Plus, I love Winnie the Pooh - so it is a major added plus for me! As for the food - simply amazing! The best breakfast in our opinion. The food options were great and everything we had was amazing! I'm not a fan of eggs but they were awesome. And the french toast - wowee - totally awesome! We had a GREAT server also. A wonderful dining experience.

We've decided we have to go for breakfast every trip for now on. I think it is totally worth it!

Although I am not a huge Pooh and Friends follower, this has become a must do every time I'm down there. The food is awesome, the restaurant is gorgeous and the characters interact a lot! It's fantastic!

The restaurant itself is really nice and there is a lot of interaction with the characters, so that part is good.

But to be completely honest, the food was terrible when we ate there last year for dinner (our 1st visit). I realize it's a theme park and the food is mass produced, so it's not like I have insanely high standards. But I barely ate anything. The food was bland and rubbery. We were so mad we wasted a dining credit there, because we ended up running over to a QS about an hour later.

How's the food?
Great and a large variety. We eat there for breakfast.

The atmosphere?
Absolutely super. It's like eating in a crystal palace.

Do the characters interact with you a lot?
They come around to each table, one at at time. You can get your picture with them.

Is it worth it?
Yes. It's a must do for us every trip- early breakfast at The Crystal Palace. BTW- You can even make reservations for times before the park opens in the morning.

Try it for breakfast.
:)

While I haven't had the chance to eat breakfast at the Crystal Palace, we had a great time at the Character dinner when were last at WDW.

As pretty much everyone has said to this point, the food is really good, the venue is great and the characters were outstanding. Definitely worth checking out...one of the better character meals we have been to so far.

We love eating at the Crystal Palace for breakfast and try to do it each trip! The breakfast food is great, the the restaurant is so bright and pretty inside, and the character interaction is really nice.

We had been there many times before, our trip in August 2008 my youngest had never been. OMG were we disappointed.

Now I fully understand that people/places can always have bad nights. The food was perfectly fine, the characters were not. Each character was rushed thru. They would come sign book take 1 picture and be gone. My youngest who was 17 months old, loved Pooh and my oldest who was 5 just wanted a few seconds to say high and get a hug, he was pretty much out of luck. The kids sat on the outside of our table. Character would sign book in between them and then just look up for picture and then c-ya they were gone.

As much as we liked the food and atmosphere this was a huge disappointement for us and on the 2 trips since we have not been back.

Never had breakfast there, but lunch/dinner is pretty good (better than the first time we ate there). In fact, we've booked dinner there again for our upcoming trip. I'm sure if lunch/dinner is good, then breakfast has to be just as good!

We ALWAYS have at least one breakfast experience to CP every trip. We have also done a couple of evening meals here as well. Its a great place to eat with a great food selection. The character interaction is good too - during the course of your meal you will get at least one visit from each of Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet and Pooh

Our only "must do" at Disney is Crystal Palace. Our tradition has been for breakfast, but this past (one day) trip we ate dinner there and it was no less thrilling. Go for it!

We love Crystal Palace. Our daughter isn't really into Pooh anymore, but she still loves this one. Every trip, we do the very last breakfast seating we can get and treat it like a late breakfast and early lunch and really take advantage of 'all you can eat.' Our character experiences have always been first rate - when you eat that late, the restaurant has started to empty and you sometimes get multiple visits from each character!

We did dinner also awhile ago. (I want to say back in 2007 or 2005). But It was wonderful! The characters are the best we also aren't the biggest pooh fans but would definitely go again. We are planning on eating here on my sister's 12th birthday in November 2011!! We all can't wait! If I were you I would book it:)

The food for the breakfast buffet was really good. One of the better meals we had on our vacation. Great french toast and the characters were great! We didnt go there for Winnie the Pooh but it turned out to be a great morning.
We had the earliest reservations and got to walk down Main Street before the park opened! What a great thing and the pictures we got in front of the castle were amazing, we were the only people in the picture (just a side note)
My picky eater of a husband and son ate a lot! Enjoy!

We go every time we visit the world. Food is great and the characters do spend time with each guest. They also have a parade where the kids get to join and parade around the dining room. Its a great location and lots of fun.

Probably my favorite character meal and one of the better breakfast spreads on the property. Definitely try to get earlier reservation as you'll have more time with the characters before it fills up and also the food will be fresh (and line shorter). I can imagine that some of the complaints people have were later breakfasts when it gets crowded and some of the dishes have been sitting out a while. Personally I've never had a bad meal here and highly recommend it for you!

Crystal Palace

We have been to the character breakfast on both visits and do plan to go back again. My family and I enjoyed the food, especially the french toast. (tastes more like fried dough dipped in sugar--delicious!!) It is VERY loud, and very crowded. The service has always been good. Our last visit was for our anniversary, and they had a little heart made out of glitter on our table when we arrived. Characters were good, but there are so many kids there they were not able to take much time at each table. Nice enough to let us take some good pictures, though. One note~we went again for the dinner buffet and hated it. My kids are picky eaters, and they could not find anything they liked.
