Anyone think itā€™s possible those plain clothed ā€œguestsā€ are actually undercover security cast members?

And, to what end even if they were...?!
The guy was still upright and defiantly walking away at the end of the video.
Within 15-30 seconds after the first punch, slap, whatever, was thrown, two legit security people shoudaā€™ had him face-down on the ground with a knee each in his back, cuffed, and escorted out. That video was almost 4.5 mins. long...can you just imagine the damage that he could have inflicted in that time period if he had really gone all-out bat-stuff Crazy...?!?!?!
Ultimately, I donā€™t give a rip who was or wasnā€™t what, that was an absolute major security fail, in every regard.

Just watched the video. Wow. Itā€™s sad but not surprising. I almost died laughing when the custodial CM tried to break it up. šŸ˜‚

He's really the only CM who acted appropriately and tried to help. And he's an older gentleman at that. He deserves a big raise and a week's paid vacation!

The rest of the male CM's in this video looked like spineless fools.

You know, I'm about done with this topic. It's all over the national and local media, and trending on Twitter. (Some of the Twitter memes and videos are hilarious, I must admit!)

Disneyland security and management on scene for this incident were made to look like completely inept and useless fools. They willingly put their paying customers in harms way and allowed customers to do the basic job they are not human enough to do.

But here's the silver lining, and I hope you all can share it with me. This was a family unit of some kind that violently beat each other up and called each other horrific names at Disneyland. I can not even imagine such a thing ever happening in my family in public or private, and I hope you can not either.

My family, like all families, has had disagreements. But we have never screamed at each other, never sworn at each other or even considered breathing the N word or any such hateful epithet, and the adults and parents have certainly never argued in front of the children. The biggest argument we've gotten in as a broad family unit from elders to children involved allegedly made up words while playing Scrabble at the beach house. Aunt Ingrid hauled out her big Oxford Dictionary and settled it quickly, reacting much faster than Disneyland security. As a family and as a people we are polite, we are kind, we are gracious, we are classy.

I hope this video makes you realize, as it has me, that we should be thankful for the family we have in our lives. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be this other Toontown family and behave like that in public, or anywhere for that matter.

And with that, I'm out of this topic. Disneyland management has been shamed, and they fully deserve it over this one.

And long as Disney provides kindly females and tiny, rail thin gentlemen of an advanced age as their ā€œsecurityā€ I canā€™t blame these people for not physically getting involved. They certainly arenā€™t trained or physically capable of handling this kind of thing.
Disney should be ashamed of not providing actual security that are capable of handling something of this magnitude.

And as far as expecting guests to risk themselves or their family to come to these peoples assistance? These people are all grown adults who have made their choices in life. I donā€™t for one minute think any of these people are cowering in fear and being victimized by any one person. These people ALL had zero impulse control and were ALL instigating the violence. I wouldnā€™t for one second risk my familyā€™s safety to get in the middle of this situation. I would take my kids and get the F out of there.

ā€œAccording to KABC, Anaheim Police interviewed the family members involved in the fight. However, none of them were cooperative. Although, when the department was made aware of the video, they decided to pursue a criminal case.

In a statement to KABC, a Disney spokesperson said: ā€œWe do not condone this behavior.ā€ ā€œ

Not cooperating with police tells you exactly that this is domestic violence. You stay out of it. They are sick people.

The entire incident is so opposite of what Disney is all about. Thankfully, violent incidents like this are extremely rare. I actually don't fault any of the cast members, but I think think this remarkably well photographed video should really be the catalyst for overhauling their security procedures. Clearly, they're not effective enough.

I like seeing families having fun every day I'm at Disney because I don't have one. This video really, really upset me and I'm rarely affected by stuff anymore.
