MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

I read on one wiki that Roger Craig Smith (Sonic The Hedgehog!) is Melvin in this show. Do we have confirmation of that elsewhere?(If it is Roger, I can't tell from the voice alone. I'm used to hearing him as Sonic, and I haven't heard him do a low, goofy country voice like that)

I'm wondering if there will be more bear shows after this. I wonder if the reason they didn't go with Peter Renaday for Musical Jamboree, with him being 89 now, is so Henry could have a new consistent voice actor in place if they do more shows down the road, in case something happens to Pete?

It's been floated around. I wouldn't be shocked if they rotate a show, be it an updated oldie (Vacation) or an all new one within 5 years.

They took portions of that one piece of concept art and cut it up for the poster, with a few changes. I wish they could have just drawn new art. The poster looks nice, but WHY did they just reuse Henry and others? Couldn't they have drawn something new?
I just saw the new poster for the Storybookland Canal Boats at Disneyland Paris and I must say that they did a better job making that poster match the look and feel of classic Disney attraction posters than they have managed with any of the recent WDW posters. I don't think the CBMJ one is bad as such, but I think this one is excellent.

I wish Disney would put the entire original show's soundtrack on Spotify (as well as every other ride audio file) but I'm sure it has something to do with the copyright of the artists and the songs. Really too bad.

As for Frontierland's fate, I think converting the land into "Dixieland" would be an easy solution that allows for the incorporation of Tiana's, Country Bears, and the Rivers of America. Big Thunder, then, can be part of a new take on Frontierland beyond the railroad, one that includes Western River Expedition.
They re-released the original soundtrack album on vinyl a couple of years back. I agree, though, that it would be great to have as many of the old albums as possible on streaming services. Thankfully, most of the original albums, outside of stuff like the Mansion LP, are still pretty reasonable on the secondary market.
