Whichever of the two it is, they did a spot on impression of Pete Renaday! Still curious if they reached out to him or not.It seems our new Henry is either David Loucks or A.J. LoCascio, going off the soundtrack album
If anybody finds the clip I’d love to see it.Country Bear Jamboree and a photo of Big Al appeared in Colbert’s monologue tonight! Hooray for the bears - they are making the talk shows!
I'm wondering if there will be more bear shows after this. I wonder if the reason they didn't go with Peter Renaday for Musical Jamboree, with him being 89 now, is so Henry could have a new consistent voice actor in place if they do more shows down the road, in case something happens to Pete?
By updated oldie do you mean the original version, or a new one with Disney songs? It's been floated around. I wouldn't be shocked if they rotate a show, be it an updated oldie (Vacation) or an all new one within 5 years.
AJ has voiced Henry, and also figment in the speedstorm game. Guess he may be one of their “go to” park character voice guys. He also voiced gambit in x men 97!Whichever of the two it is, they did a spot on impression of Pete Renaday! Still curious if they reached out to him or not.
EDIT: Just saw it was AJ!
I just saw the new poster for the Storybookland Canal Boats at Disneyland Paris and I must say that they did a better job making that poster match the look and feel of classic Disney attraction posters than they have managed with any of the recent WDW posters. I don't think the CBMJ one is bad as such, but I think this one is excellent.View attachment 801445

They took portions of that one piece of concept art and cut it up for the poster, with a few changes. I wish they could have just drawn new art. The poster looks nice, but WHY did they just reuse Henry and others? Couldn't they have drawn something new?
Any hope that the Country Bears could get added to Speedstorm then? None of them are used as pit crew members for Figment, who’s series is “Walt Disney World”, so perhaps…AJ has voiced Henry, and also figment in the speedstorm game. I heard either Big Al or Henry is penned for a racer... if the game lasts long enough.Any hope that the Country Bears could get added to Speedstorm then? None of them are used as pit crew members for Figment, who’s series is “Walt Disney World”, so perhaps…![]()
I guess I better start supporting the game then, lolI heard either Big Al or Henry is penned for a racer... if the game lasts long enough.
BUH-LOOD ON THE RACTRACKI heard either Big Al or Henry is penned for a racer... if the game lasts long enough.
What do you mean by made, like made safe? No chance of closing for good? With all these rumors of bears abound, is it safe to assume they have been “made”?
Will always exist in some form at the disney parks. A maybe not the show, but always there. What do you mean by made, like made safe? No chance of closing for good?
oooh gotcha. Well I’m sure they’ll always at least be in Tokyo, but I think it’s safe to say that depending on what’s announced at D23, the bears are safe. Especially with the rumors of doing more with them. Will always exist in some form
Still am curious about this. Are all future country bear shows locked to Disney songs only?By updated oldie do you mean the original version, or a new one with Disney songs?
They re-released the original soundtrack album on vinyl a couple of years back. I agree, though, that it would be great to have as many of the old albums as possible on streaming services. Thankfully, most of the original albums, outside of stuff like the Mansion LP, are still pretty reasonable on the secondary market.I wish Disney would put the entire original show's soundtrack on Spotify (as well as every other ride audio file) but I'm sure it has something to do with the copyright of the artists and the songs. Really too bad.
As for Frontierland's fate, I think converting the land into "Dixieland" would be an easy solution that allows for the incorporation of Tiana's, Country Bears, and the Rivers of America. Big Thunder, then, can be part of a new take on Frontierland beyond the railroad, one that includes Western River Expedition.
