MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

So we are less than 3 weeks from the return of the Country Bears and we still don’t know more than a handful of songs, right?

At least we know they aren’t planning to put it on LL access (I hope).

Apparently a lot of og songs will return
I'm not so certain of that. I haven't seen a credible insider report it, and the idea that there were only three IP songs was debunked by @wdwmagic earlier in this thread. We're aware of maybe two (possibly three) OG songs that may be included (Blood on the Saddle, Come Again, and Davy Crockett??), but nothing more than that. I wouldn't consider that "a lot," but maybe we just differ on descriptions.

I’m not in any way an insider, which is why I’m here trolling for more hints/clues/set lists.

My home resort is DLR so I continue to hope we see one or two songs from Vacation Hoedown, but I wonder if they would count as “OG” (or OG enough) by the hardcore CBJ fans here.

I'm retracting Davy Crockett but I feel confident in the other two are in there.

I'd REALLY like to know if the renaming of Liverlips to Romeo McGrowl will be Canon throughout the Disneyparks where they still use the bears in M&G form. Will the CM's actually have to stop a guest calling by his former name due to the new show plus the adding of his new blonde hairdo if it's added to the walk-around down the way..

Well during the final night for the original CBJ the CMs in the lobby had to call him Romeo already. During the breakdown and the CMs were trying to keep the guest entertained with CBJ trivia when she asked about "who's the bear with the huge lips?" and people were shouting "Liver Lips" she had to say that it was Romeo now.

Disney may chose not to reveal the playlist until the day it opens for previews, or only a few days in advance.

That's a perfectly ordinary choice for an entertainment company to make. E.g. sometime we get the full soundtrack to a theatrical movie before it's released, and sometimes we don't.

No news now is not a sign of... anything really.

I accept that and was not trying to draw any conclusions from that. I actually understand why they might want to save the “surprise” of how much OG CBJ content is coming back for the very first show…I’m simply curious and extremely impatient.

It's going to be even more confusing when they do M&G's in Disneyland will he still be Liver Lips or Romeo..
