MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Where is the point that it becomes “different”?

By far the most offensive bird voice at Disney is Iago correct? I’m a fan of the great late Gilbert but he is the very definition of offensive.
If you take a job from someone who reasonably could do it and who would be a more accurate depiction of the representation (particularly those who are underrepresented) to do a sterotyped-version of the representation, that's not a great look.

An accurate depiction of a tiki room parrot who is hosting a show? Shouldn’t they all be voiced from actors from Polynesia then?

Wouldn't be a bad idea but if they did want to keep the attraction story/script the same, they can just replace the voices with people from the areas they represent. I always imagined the birds as either tourists themselves or people who "run the show" that already kinda existed there.

Disney World Purist
For someone who calls himself a "Disney World Purist," this is a bit of a surprising take.
Lol. Yeah, I miss the pure days of old Disney World and the company, but I have come to terms with the growth and changes for the most part. It's good to look back but also keep an open mind. There was nothing like EPCOT '84, Adventurer's Club, Splash, and the GMR. With that said, removal of ROA and Muppets is a stupid idea, but at the end of the day, we are all going to ride the new stuff, and the company won't listen.

Just trying the keep the memories pure. Now I rather go to Tokyo Disney again and spend less, see better show quality and cast members, and make new memories.

Sure, but we need not get so lost in the memories that we allow or encourage the parks to become further sullied in the meantime.

I've done the Stitch Tiki Room also and it's...definitely a thing that exists. Not a patch on the original, which is the only version of that show that (IMO) has ever worked.

Liverlips' old costume was out yesterday. I wonder if this means he's close to coming back for good

Interesting! I wonder though if because it's Cali and all the bears are their classic looks that it doesn't affect whether or not LL/Romeo is coming to MK.
Stitch Tiki Room is indefinitely preferable to Moana Meet and Greet, Moana Tiki Room, Moana Wine and Dine or whatever supercharged Moana Adventure thing they'd shove in here.
That concept art still haunts my dreams, thank god it and the Woody's Roundup show got cancelled cause they both would 100% have been objective downgrades from Tiki Room/CBJ. Not even my classic park bias here, a meet and greet is a downgrade from a show and Woody's Roundup has like, next to no material to work with. If they got to 5 minutes of show that'd still be stretching it thin.

While I would love more Orange Bird, his character design doesn’t work well with all the realistic parrots and toucans in the Tiki Room. Stitch also doesn’t work well imo but he works a little better at least
The Stitch IP provides Imagineering with a unique opportunity. They could base his design on either the animated or live action version depending on where he goes. Honestly, it's kind of a toss up with the Tiki Room. Tokyo's version looks fine, IMO. Though I suspect the CGI hyper-realistic version of Stitch would translate better.

Nope..After the refurb to Hungry Bear they redid the portraits to reflect the MK update..Including Romeo..So he's not Liverlips anymore at DL and I'm sure assisted CM's have to let guests know of the name change if they have him out doing M&G's..

Shame they could go with another one they now own...The Rio cast..

That confuses me even more. Why did they not update his costume? Was a wig really that expensive?
