Just got back from the Magic Kingdom and saw a huge error made tonight. Went to the dance party in Tomorrow Land and there was Chip dancing in the crowd with everyone, when next thing I saw was Chip & Dale came out onto the stage with the DJ, we now have 2 Chips in the same place. The error was spotted and the Chip in the crowd made a hasty exit, not before nearly tripping over!

God bless the "Ignore" button.
How does this sort of thing actually happen... Surely there's protocol for this?
The characters have specific times they're supposed to be out, obviously, but no way to tell the time. They rely on their attendants to get then off set on time. If only Chip was out with no Dale, I would guess that they forgot to get him in (it happens more than you'd think). Though Chip's second friend should have known not to go out (everyone involved could have noticed) as their break room was evidently one chipmunk and one performer short.
To be fair, I've never worked the Tomorrowland Dance Party, but that's my experience from other things.

Remember... you were in Tomorrowland. What happened was the first Chip appeared in the same time frame
the second Chip through the use of a future time portal. Boy you guys are always complaining that Tomorrowland doesnt have a lot of "Tomorrow" features in it and now that it does you dont recognize it. ;)

I agree with the hatter some people on these boards look for any little mishap at the parks so they can bash disney. It was a simple mistake by an employee at a workplace not the beginning of the end for disney. I'm pretty sure upper management had nothing to do with it. Back to the original OP i'm also pretty sure it did not ruin anybody else's day if they even noticed.

So true dude. Reading this thread has made me write a new one in the "General Parks" site.
