If a leader places their employees in a position where they can fail, the leader failed. Whether it be by lack of training or placing them in a bad situation.I'll agree that Cali does it better with having more unique characters. Florida could learn a LOT from their older little brother. But how does this keep getting back to management? If a bus boy at Chili's spills ranch on your Dockers, you don't blame management, you blame a one-time fluke on the individual's part. I've been around characters a LOT, and this is the first double-exposure I've even HEARD of. At Disney anyways...
I knew this and I am surprised no one else did. Honest, I did know this.Remember... you were in Tomorrowland. What happened was the first Chip appeared in the same time frame
the second Chip through the use of a future time portal. Boy you guys are always complaining that Tomorrowland doesnt have a lot of "Tomorrow" features in it and now that it does you dont recognize it.
I'm more of a "buck stops here" kind of guy. Absolutely everyone is fallible, but we can't just push the blame up to the highest tier. Everyone needs to take personal responsibility for their actions. The only way to make this situation impossible would be to literally have their be only one Chip in the world. That's just ridiculous. If a leader places their employees in a position where they can fail, the leader failed. Whether it be by lack of training or placing them in a bad situation.
They are all glorified rats! Are you sure!?! I don't know about you, but all Chipmunks look the same to me! Same with squirrels.
How does this sort of thing actually happen... Surely there's protocol for this?
Your correct, the parks are in a state. That state is Florida.
Just recently ( 2011 trip) I noticed the difference between Chip n Dale. A kindly CM pointed out that I thanked the wrong chipmunk. LOL. I have been a long time Disney lover, but not exactly a fanatic, and I just don't notice those "little " things.

The trouble with Chipmunks. They multiply out of control.
I got told by someone who grandson worked at wdw for bit that they should only ever be 1 Mickey at any 1 time? Not sure if per park or ture at all. And PLEASE do not bite my head if wrong!
How is the OP being a doom and gloomer? What they saw shouldn't have happened. Simple as that. There's a reason Chip 2 scurried on backstage.
