Could it be facts prove Star Wars is just not the draw is used to be?

Star Tours is still plenty popular. I've been here over a week and have constantly seen the queue jump from 10-20 minutes to 40-50. You have to look for when Indiana Jones lets out. It appears the queue gets slammed every time the show lets out. Massive capacity doesn't hurt either :).

God bless the "Ignore" button.
According to Wikipedia, Muppets seats around 570 and runs 17 minutes. So figuring in load and unload time that's at most two shows and hour, which is 1140 per hour, still less then half of Star Tours capacity.
2 shows an hour seems awful low. It can't possibly take 13 minutes to unload the theatre, reset the effects, and load it again. Unless they need to allow enough of a break for Sweetums?

It's the only ride we've got, so it basically has to do it for us. It isn't a great ride, it's mostly nostalgia. Yes, the improvements were nice, but I'd like to see a state of the art ride here. There really should be several Star Wars additions:

1. A Dark Ride/Coaster Combination, preferably 3D
2. A character meal
3. To go with number 2, above, a restaurant
4. More characters in the parks

I honestly can't believe SW popularity is even being questioned. A) SWWs are still drawing huge crowds. B) The one-day "May the Fourth" event had massive attendance from what I read. C) Note the number of threads on this very site, begging, pleading, crying for a SW Land of any kind. I could continue further, but I personally, would take a SW Land over 2 Potter Lands all day, any day.

Most of the people that I have spoken with or know don't like it that much....they love the idea and everything but feel that it is just too jerky....everyone I talk to complains about their necks hurting after riding it.

I was there and the place was a zoo, but it was a small price to pay to finally get my Jedi Training.

Since Disney does not release attendance figures is is impossible to give exact numbers, but you will have people lining up for the autographs around midnight and it is not uncommon for the lines at opening to extend to the security check. I know that they also had to use overflow parking several times this year.

If Disney does actually build a full blown SWland with an E-ticket, a couple of D's, restaurants and stores, a opening crowd similar to PotterLand would not surprise me.

Fans are already lining up at the front gate for the opening of Starwars Land ;)

The thing is, it's the complete opposite at Disneyland, where Star Tours consistently has 45+ minute wait and MuppetVision is pretty much dead at Disney California Adventure.

It's pretty much dead most of the time at WDW, from what I've heard. But I'm surprised about Star Tours being so empty. Is it not promoted enough? Although I have to admit that when I last visited the World, there was only one time when there was anything like a line there - but then I tend to visit the World in the fall, when crowds are sparser...

Well, it turns out you can put 40 people in one ride vehicle! And if you have 4-6 vehicles available, that's about 160-240 people can ride it at once. 40 people to one ride vehicle is larger than most roller coasters so that speaks volume and can probably lower the wait time I would think. But nevertheless, Star Tours is still a popular ride and I still enjoy it.

Star Tours in Disneyland: 4 simulators, 16 million annual park attendence, located near the center of the park.

Star Tours in Hollywood Studios: 6 simulators, 9 million annual park attendence, located on opposite side of park as most popular show and E-tickets.

There's your difference.
