Could it be facts prove Star Wars is just not the draw is used to be?

No it wasn't at all. I'm thinking more of now, a few years after it opened. The novelty of the hot new thing has long since passed.

Yet the attendance has continued to climb... so it's not something that has 'passed' in that its no longer a driver for business... just it's no longer the news hog.

Not asking because I don't believe you, I'm just genuinely interested - are there stats out there for daily/weekly/monthly WWoHP visits?

I'd think you would have to compare how many people ride it each day compared to the other rides and compare capacity. We do know they sell a ton of merchandise and star wars weekends is a huge draw. So much it's almost to busy for me and I am a fan. But I never complain about walking on to star tours :) love the queue as much as the ride.

Almost uniquely, I wish ST2 would've longer lines!

I love that queue! I love watching the videos, and the robots, and the fun stuff in the second room. I like being immersed in it. I usually just linger there a few minutes, pretending I'm waiting in that non-existing line, until people start looking at me funny.

Queues are necessary to get in the mood. The experience improves with a wait, with the time to get immersed in the atmopshere.

In DLP, the line tends to move more slowly since it has a smaller capacity. The waits are longer and you get to listen to the droids a bit more

Yay! A much better overall experience. Provided the queue isn't too long in turn. Say, less than ten minutes.

Also, DLP is Disneyland Paris, not Disneyland Park. Anaheim is simply DL. The original goes without further identification. ;)

I too tend to linger in line longer than necessary. I agree a wait would help others appreciate the queue more. I remember years ago having to wait outside where the line would wind underneath the ewok village you could listen to the drum beat of the ewoks. There was too long of a wait then.
