Could Boo Bash be a hint for the future?

I don’t see how some here can criticise others for being “herded” into spending time and money at Disney when they themselves visit regularly.
1. You have a point
2. But does everyone buy the same things? I reject things that are egregious outright. Like selling extra tickets for the same park when extending the standard hours for 2-3 as they always had would solve the “problem”

I know where wildwood, New Jersey is if I want a 2 hour ride wrist band

I did go on a Florida 2-day pass, so it was about $75 per day. Still well worth the extra money.

So the numbers you represented weren't accurate. Wasn't a $29 difference. Thanks for the clarification. You took all other replies completely out of context. But you did at least acknowledge the important one.

Not all opinions are correct…

please don’t tell me you’re doing the “for me!!!” Thing.

Disney parks are mass markets…they steer and sell to the trends they attempt to create. It’s not 50 million “individuals” a year.

its not you…it’s all of us
I don't understand your reference to the "'for me!!!' Thing". If you're asking whether my choices during a Disney holiday are motivated primarily by my own likes and interests, then the answer is yes. What sense would there be in my spending my money in ways that privilege others' opinions?

I should also add that my WDW spending necessarily pales in comparison to what you and @"El Magnifico" give to the company (my trips are short and infrequent). It still baffles me that you don't recognise the double standard inherent in your condemnation of others' Disney outlay.

My trips are short, but frequent.
Unless I'm mistaken, both you and @Sirwalterraleigh have APs and are therefore giving substantially more money to WDW than I am. Not that I begrudge you, you understand: I would love to have an AP one day.

Not sure if that was an "attack". But I'll assume it wasn't.
I was pointing out a double standard. It wasn't intended as an attack per se, but neither was it a neutral observation.

I am converting hoppers to APs…

i used to have them annually…they were a good deal…

they cranked the prices and I went to every other year…

cranked them again and it was maybe 1 in 3…

I never boycott Disney…I will withhold and reject…however. Some things are easily a reject…no matter what those that buy them spend hours/weeks/months building three case that it makes sense.

“It’s worth it to me!!!” Is the battle cry for everyone with access to a credit card but not necessarily access to the judgement to use it.

For you, not for others.

It doesn't have to make sense to you to make sense to someone else. I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could prefer coffee to tea, but it would be a waste of my time, not to mention narrow-minded and presumptuous, for me to try to convert the world's coffee-drinkers. It's a matter of taste, after all, and no amount of preaching is going to make others share my perceptions and preferences.

As long as someone is spending within their means and not hurting others, I see no good reason to judge their consumer choices.
Mass market…there are no individuals…just averages of clusters of large numbers of them.

but it’s not me that has to worry about this one…

the “boo bash” crowd not rejecting it is gonna get “what they deserve” every year thereafter. Magic for sure

If you’re going to quibble about 50 bucks, you might want to try Six Flags.

Your money is still going to Disney, whether through the Boo Bash or not. You are, in other words, part of the same mass market that is rewarding Disney for its current approach. At least I can say that I continue to enjoy Disney and am therefore happy to give them my dollars. What's your excuse?

Word salad with no point.

Cool beans. It was 100% worth it.

So true. I understand people expressing an opinion, but why the need to have others agree with it in order to validate it? Or maybe people just can’t understand how anyone could have a different opinion. That’s a dangerous path unless you do indeed know everything and are always right.
So when are you “experiencing” boo bash?

that’s rhetorical…I think you posted it somewhere…

so the “individual choice”…goes into the data gleaning mass…

I’m sure next year it will be stage shows and $109 tickets with really cool meet and greets and permimeter fireworks…no doubt 👍🏻

Aren’t you a Florida resident who pops in for a day or two?

that’s great…enjoy it. But you’re not close to the target demographics that the prices are targeted and meant fo extract money from.
