To me this just infers that the two doses vs boosters difference is tiny. That getting the third....and maybe fourth etc booster has a huge factor of diminishing returns. Makes me feel like if everybody got 2 we would be just fine.

Well its china. The CCP just tells you what to do. Plus there so worried about there image with the Olympics there going overboard. Irony is how much money is being sucked out of HK there really won't be a reason to go there soon. Its just another part of china.

I will (and have) gladly take my business elsewhere. I may not wear a mask inside if they do not require it (depends on the size of the place and the amount of people inside) but to be an outright smart*** about it like this is too much.

Exactly. Imagine how inconsistent things would be if there were multiple mods, each with their own biases, in charge of each area. AFAIK, that was a major complaint on another WDW discussion forum. I also cannot be everywhere, and by the time I am aware of a problem, it requires a major clean-up. And, sometimes I do not agree that a certain reported post is problematic - people have sometimes reported every post made by someone they do not agree with or dislike, or anyone having an opposing POV. Which is why I have been labeled as having both a right and left political bias by certain posters.

And lastly, yes, except for a very nice wine/snack basket every Christmas, and free entry to the PML, I do not receive any compensation.

I think you're one of the most fair moderators I've seen in any internet community. It's impressive how there's only a handful of you. My political community I moderate has around 120 staff and the ideological conflicts do cause A LOT of problems, so much so that the owners of the platform (Discord) have warned us multiple times of TOS violating content. And mods with certain ideologies don't view it as rule breaking content, which is a problem obviously.

From my end it seemed like a crappy thing to say, but I also don’t know how well you know ‘The Mom’, and since I don’t know all the details I figured there was a good chance that you were just messing with her. Hence why I deleted it, humor amongst friends is paramount - me seeing it as a cheap insult is reactionary and possibly misconstrued. I think she’s awesome so I may have jumped the gun.

I got it. I was commiserating with her, she has a thankless job for 0 pay and does it so well. I've been here a while but she has been here much longer.
I think some people read everything in the worst light thinking the poster has malice at the fore when most people are pretty decent and don't wish ill on others.
I don't come with drama and hate, I just want some entertainment and a few yucks along the way.
This is not the repository of the world's knowledge but it has it's bright spots and memorable moments.

I took it as "How can you deal with all of these posters year after year and still keep your sanity?" The poster and I may not always agree, but I do not think that he would purposely insult me. Now, other posters ........ ;)

But I can also see how others might view it as an insult, as I make no secret of the fact I've been here for 20+ years and am what many consider elderly. That is, until you reach my age and still feel pretty much the same as 30 years ago.
