More are doing so. Many more are moving in that direction. Disney is a big one of course.Just wanted to say kudos to Disney on the vaccine mandate. Need more employers on board with this.
Nothing to see here. I'm sure its just lots of patients with broken legs who just happened to test positive of COVID.Updated hospitalization data for Florida from the CDC -

Yes. "Incidence" means new cases, "prevalence" means total existing cases at any given time.I assume "prevalent hospitalizations" refers to the total number of people in the hospital with Covid on a given day?
Hospitals were already requiring staff to get vaccinated but with TWDC requiring US based cast is huge and it has made national news. I'm sure Disney is actively talking to all of the hourly cast members unions on next steps concerning these cast. Now that disney has done this...watch the dominos fall. Hotels, airlines, big box stores, etc.
Every time I return to my puter and hit refresh I see more and more in my state.....Now that disney has done this...watch the dominos fall. Hotels, airlines, big box stores, etc.
Hospitals requiring staff to be vaccinated makes sense. They are routinely working with people who are on the brink of death.Hospitals were already requiring staff to get vaccinated but with TWDC requiring US based cast is huge and it has made national news. Is that a serious question? It is the right thing to do.Hospitals requiring staff to be vaccinated makes sense. They are routinely working with people who are on the brink of death.
On the other hand, you don't go to a theme park if you're seriously ill. So why, before the vaccine even has full FDA approval, would Disney require all their people to be vaccinated?
You're welcome to your opinion, but in my opinion, forcing a vaccine which has yet to achieve FDA approval into your employees' arms seems like a foolish move.Is that a serious question? It is the right thing to do.

The first domino is always the hardest. No one wants to be first to jump in case no one else does. Within a short time “big business” will all be on board this train. Just like with all the shutdowns. Now that disney has done this...watch the dominos fall. Hotels, airlines, big box stores, etc.
Already talk of of the WH to the US military regarding covid vaccine . It looks like Disney and other companies and eventually the US military are moving forward / will move forward even without FDA approval. You're welcome to your opinion, but in my opinion, forcing a vaccine which has yet to achieve FDA approval into your employees' arms seems like a foolish move.
That's all I'll say on this matter, seeing as anything more would tread on political.
There is absolutely no way these vaccines aren’t approved. It’s an absurd idea - it would cause mass chaos. We’re just seeing bureaucratic foot-dragging. They’re as good as approved. You're welcome to your opinion, but in my opinion, forcing a vaccine which has yet to achieve FDA approval into your employees' arms seems like a foolish move.

Indeed. Disney will likely be a trendsetter with this one.Already talk of of the WH to the US military regarding covid vaccine . It looks like Disney and other companies and eventually the US military are moving forward / will move forward even without FDA approval.
Is lack of full FDA approval your only objection? Do you think employers should wait until full approval to mandate the vaccine? Why do you believe it’s foolish for employers to mandate the vaccine at this point? You're welcome to your opinion, but in my opinion, forcing a vaccine which has yet to achieve FDA approval into your employees' arms seems like a foolish move.
