I believe they were just offering info. He also talked about some of the common things that people still don't know, like that the vaccine is free and that there are numerous locations you can get it at.

I would assume it was just info on where to get a vaccine, how to schedule an appointment, safety information, etc., but now I'm picturing people going door-to-door with needles asking people if they'd mind letting them inject them real quick. "This will just take a second. I promise you it's just the COVID-19 vaccine, sir. Stop resisting!"

Well interesting meeting, but nothing I didn't already know really. Only the on-site nurse will be validating vaccine status, giving a fake document is immediate grounds for termination. We will not have to do temp screening if validated, but still need to report any symptoms of to the health clinic for decision to report to work or not.
No one except the nurse and HR (would require union rep approval) may request proof by card itself. Any employee may ask someone without a mask to see their sticker proving they are validated. Right now no volunteer EMTs are required to be vaccinated but will continue to follow CDC and Indiana Heath Dept.
Harassment based on vaccination status will not be tolerated and discipline will follow harassment policy. Refusal to wear a mask without validation will result in discipline following health and safety guidelines including and up to termination.
Only one interesting question Someone asked: if they still had to wear a mask because they aren't vaccinated and a vaccinated and unmasked person was proven to have infected them, if they have the right to sue. Plant manager rightfully replied: that would be a question for a lawyer, however filing a lawsuit and having legal basis is not always the same thing.
My company just sent out the official word that they are adopting the CDC guidelines allowing fully vaccinated people to not wear a mask at work. They implemented a system of verification so they will not be going just on the honor system. Goes into effect next week when NJ officially allows it. 👍👍🥳🥳🎉🎉

State Official: "I would like to talk to you about getting vaccinated"
Resident: "Ouch! What was that"
State Official: "Bee sting, yeah, just a bee sting"

If the vaccine lottery ball isn't going door to door, why even bother?

"Today, we’re pleased to announce that beginning June 15, 2021, we will once again be able to welcome travelers from outside the state of California back to our theme parks! Out-of-state visitors may now begin booking their return to the parks on Disneyland.com. Until June 15, all guests visiting the Disneyland Resort must be California residents visiting in groups no larger than 3 households.*

The State of California strongly recommends that all guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks. In addition, all guests will be required to wear an approved face covering throughout their visit at the Disneyland Resort."

So no proof of vaccination required?

The real trick is going to be getting close enough in a few weeks to do the 2nd shot ;););)
J&J clearly.

As what appears to be the only J&J recipient on the forum, gotta cheer for my vaccine.

Right about then is when lottery ball guy is thinking.....”shoulda kept collecting that $300 a week”🤑🤑🤑 Should we also assume he’s the only one not vaccinated since he’s the only one in a mask?
Clearly lottery ball guy was inside in close quarters with someone else helping to dress him, possibly someone unvaccinated or eleven years old, and wore the mask to avoid the awkwardness of neither knowing the others status. Perhaps he put the costume on before riding the bus to the event. Once outside, his arms were restricted and unable to remove the mask. Have some pity for him.

Silly. Good luck on finding COVID with surname tags attached... like a dog collar.

What they left out of the story is the other 50% were chased from the front door by a guy with a bat ;) I applaud the effort for sure, but door to door in this age is a tough sell.

I do still believe there are a good number of people who are not against the vaccine overall but are also not really in any hurry to get it. Those are the people we can still get to come in. Door to door can be a big help with elderly or sick people who have a hard time leaving their home. Did they say they were just offering info or offering to come back and do an in house shot? I know that’s not very efficient, but for a limited group of people it may be one of the only ways to get it done.
Could always use the Rafe Hollister approach...

Wouldn't that be extremely inclusive? And keep in mind that "inclusion" is the fifth Disney Key.
The Governor of CA said they were considering requiring it for theme parks at one point not too long ago so it wouldn’t be up to Disney really unless they chose to just shut down instead. I assume the state changed their mind. It has little to do with inclusion.

Just looked at my blood report from donating platelets last week. OneBlood now does two tests for covid antibodies. The first one cannot distinguish between the vaccinated and those that actually have covid. The second one can.
They do the second one if the first one is positive.
So the first test result for me was positive and the second test result was negative. i.e. antibodies are from being vaccinated.

Looks like I have antibodies from the Pfizer vaccine 8 months post second shot. :). That is good news for everyone. Being in the Phase 3 study, the study draws blood at the 6 months and 12 months (etc), but does not let us know the results. Giving blood is a way to find out my individual results (to a degree) since they will report the results to me.

Not sure if this has been reported here (Honestly have not kept up lately with every post).

But some of those having actually had covid have antibodies at 11 months post infection. (Almost as far as one can go back in time in the USA)
