Well... that's promising.

But then again, so was that one doctor's use of hydroxychloroquine at one time.

I'd like to see that replicated by someone else in a larger trial where they actually measure the amount of all the forms of Vitamin D in the patients before and during the trial and to take comorbidities into account.
This one may have SOME merit. So many people in Norrh America and Europe are living with silent Vit D deficiencies due to genetics as much as limited sun exposure. More and more, MS and phosphate wasting are being linked to deficiency, as well as neurological complications like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. For the most part, supplementation isn’t a bad thing, anyway.
This isn’t some silver bullet finding, more like an isn’t likely to hurt to take a caplet of Vitamin D for multiple reasons.

CDC say that only 6% of total deaths were from only covid. The rest dies from other causes but also tested positive for the virus. I'm not going to live in fear of this thing. It's your choice. I know of several who contracted the virus and got over it. This is probably one of our countries most irrational responses to a virus we have ever seen. If your afraid stay in your house. I choose to live my life however long it may be. By the way, I am an infectious disease researcher.
That is incorrect. And has been reputed several times. The CDC said 6% died showing ONLY the virus. And if yopu're an ID researcher, you need a bit more schooling when you can't even quote a correct statistic. Saying that "only 6%" because the others had somethingf else as well is the same as saying the Oak Tree that crashed through your roof wasn't caused by the hurricane that blew through, but because the tree was old.

How are Flight of Passage and Navi currently being operated? I assume Flight of Passage is doing at least every other seat, which would be half capacity. How about Navi?

I was at AK last Friday and I came in around 12:30. Was able to do Dinosaur 3 times, Triceratop Spin, Everest 5 times, FoP and Navi. They closed at 6.

I find my experience to be very different from these web sites reporting for whatever reason. Maybe it’s because I don’t go at rope drop?

As someone who grew up in NJ and is now a Florida resident, no. I’ve been living my life for months...going to the parks, the grocery store, out to dinner, weekend trip to St. Augustine. I wear my mask...not because I want to but it’s the responsible thing to do. Still haven’t caught Corona. And yes, I’ve gotten tested several times since I go into the office once a month as part of my job. The real issue is the number of people who’ve brought it TO Florida from other states (snowbirds, spring breakers for example). But we get blamed for spreading it because we choose to live our lives instead of being locked in our dungeons. You guys need to chill with the Florida B.S.
You obviously don’t have a dungeon like mine. I never want to leave it. 😃

That's what I'm saying. So many keep calling what you're saying living in fear. I never said everything is fine. No life is not quite the same but majority aren't living in fear but trying to live their life the best they can.
I’ll readily admit to living in fear but not necessarily fear of getting sick. For reasons personal to me, I find it very difficult/uncomfortable to wear a mask for more than a short time.

My greatest fear is not fear of getting COVID, because there’s a very small chance of that happening. My greatest fear is having to spend the remainder of my life behind a mask because people have decided it’s no big deal.

My personal preference is to take the virus seriously and do whatever is necessary to stop it. If people think that’s living in fear or hiding in the basement, that’s fine with me.

France reported 18,129 new cases on Thursday.

When adjusted to the US population, that would be around...90,000 cases a day.
That same number of cases adjusted to just Florida’s population would be about 6K cases a day. Almost half what FL was averaging in July back when WDW was re-opening.

Damn, moving the wrong way towards getting under the 2,100 weekly average and off the quarantine lists. :(

Did we expect anything different?
Cut the daily tests in half and it's easy to artificially get below the equally artificial level for the quarantine release.

If I lived in a required quarantine state I'd just go to WDW and ignore the quarantine. If you live in NY just drive to PA and fly from there.

Not really. But I do have an honest question that I hope doesn’t come across as being a troll.
What happens if the trends in the NE continue and NJ and NY cross their own thresholds again? I mean, work and being across state lines for <24 hours is exempt as I understand it, but what of everything else? Or leisure “travel” for dining or museums or whatever? Not sure what is or isn’t open as I don’t follow to closely with no planned travel to the area.
