They created a loophole to allow some bars to open with reduced capacity if they also sell food. Jock Lindsey's in Disney Springs is now able to open due to the change.

the 7 day average is the more important metric so you can see where it’s trending. If it stays above 16% for the next 5 to 7 days..well...
Average of the last 7 days = 14.98. .02 away from 15 which was the trigger for pulling back on re-openings at one point. I assume the goal posts have been moved now anyway but it’s not a great development.

That is actually a big deal since it has been shown bars have significantly contributed to spread. We know it is the activity with the highest risk.
It’s too bad they went back and amended the executive order to create loopholes that allow most bars to remain open. Other states seem to be taking a firmer approach to addressing that issue more seriously. I hope it all works out.

The bar ban was neutered a day after it was passed. Seems like a bit of showmanship on the part of the government. Say you are doing something but then really do nothing.
I mean this to sound as least political as possible...but SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING BECAUSE THIS OTHER GUY WONT!!!!!

You know what's funny?

Well there are well over 3000 bars in the state that are not restaurants as well.

Nearly 1 in 100 Floridians have Covid.

Do the math on the number of CMs and guests at Disney World every day.
Jesus....I'm really disappointed in Disney. I was proud when they took the steps to close in March, but they need to continue to show that leadership.
