They created a loophole to allow some bars to open with reduced capacity if they also sell food. Jock Lindsey's in Disney Springs is now able to open due to the change.
Amendment allows some Florida bars to re-open
The Florida Department of Business amended its order to let places who are licensed to sell both alcohol and food re-open so long as social distancing guidelines are still followed.

Average of the last 7 days = 14.98. .02 away from 15 which was the trigger for pulling back on re-openings at one point. I assume the goal posts have been moved now anyway but it’s not a great development.
It’s too bad they went back and amended the executive order to create loopholes that allow most bars to remain open. Other states seem to be taking a firmer approach to addressing that issue more seriously. I hope it all works out.

The bar ban was neutered a day after it was passed. Seems like a bit of showmanship on the part of the government. Say you are doing something but then really do nothing.

There were. It’s pretty easy to add some food to a menu and remain open now. Plus, the point is to eliminate the reckless party behavior not just move it down the street to a place that has a short order cook. Just my opinion.
