It's this one graph, if you read the details in the PDF. The poster is conflating the two. I don't even think this is put on the dashboard.

ah yes correct it is that one graph, the number of "additional tests" looks to be about 2000 based on the daily numbers, 6/27 is 10,088 positives vs real 8577. Thanks for clearing that up.

A lot of us go to Rocky point,Mexico to vacation. We drive through that land and into Mexico. It’s a very popular spot for Arizonans.
Rocky Point ( Puerto Penasco ) in the Sonora region is Sinaloa drug cartel land. You are certainly brave to vacation there.

My favorite vacation iinvolves a cruise. I haven’t taken a vacation in 9 years that didn’t involve getting on a ship. How depressed do you think I am right now. LOL I’ve booked some land based trips over the next year. I’m going to make the best of it.
Now you can see why I get frustrated seeing so many trying to justify the spike in cases in many states. It severely affects the majority of my vacation plans. If we would all just practice social distancing, wear makes when needed, like most do here in Canada, and if the government would help enforcing the rules things would be over much quicker.

Ive only been once years ago but my coworkers and neighbors go a lot. It’s actual a very safe resort area. Just don’t leave the resort area. Like I saI’d I’m a cruise fanatic. They were supposed to build a cruise port there. I’m not sure if it’s still happening.

Florida is in the 14 day window of new cases dramatically rising, yet hospitalizations are steady and might even have go down overall. Hospitals are currently operating as normal. We would have really started to see a significant jump in hospitalizations by now. It will be much more evident this week. Probably won't see that in a headline.

One thing with Sweden that is misrepresented is that they just continued with life and accepted the virus infection. They didn’t. Here is the mobility charts for the US and Sweden:

View attachment 479906

So while there was more moving around in Sweden than the US it was far from business as usual. By April 1 they had around a 30% drop in mobility nationwide which continued mostly for several months. The US peaked around -50% and is still around 10% below where Sweden currently sits. The point is that there’s a false narrative out there that Sweden decided to just keep everything open and it was business as usual. Clearly that was not the case. Many people reduced activity, stayed home more and practiced the same social distancing we did here. Unfortunately the uptick in mobility in Sweden did very little to help their economy.

Sweden actually did help their economy though.

I understand your disappointment, but you have no control over it. Being angry or depressed about won’t change it. Sometimes you have to adapt and overcome.

Just like it was basically over in Florida, right? WHO still won’t take them off the at-risk list and their infection to test rate is still at 12%.

WHO, the CDC, the media need Sweden to be a failure. Because if they aren’t. What have we done?

We don't have as many or as good theme parks as the US does.
According to the Wikipedia article on Canada's Wonderland, that location was once briefly considered for Walt's second park. I guess a review of the region's average temperatures in winter probably quickly killed the GTA for consideration.

And then, there was that great April Fool's Day article about the Disney company opening a resort on the Toronto islands.

Finally, I'm of the opinion that if the Disney Company ever developed a ski resort, it would look like Mont Tremblant.

The conspiracy theories continue. If you read the link you provided the increase was over the first quarter of the year. As they stated open while others shut down, well of course they would be doing good.

A year to forget’

Last month, Sweden’s central bank said the pandemic had damaged the country’s business and supply chains and warned many companies would be “hit hard,” with lots of people likely to lose their jobs over the coming months.

The National Institute of Economic Research, a respected think tank, said in a statement published April 29 that it believed Sweden’s economy would shrink 7% this year, with unemployment anticipated to rise to 10.2%.

They just delayed the bad economy they are facing now and through the end of the year, and let the deaths pile up.
