I'm late to the party but people are now boycotting Costco for requiring everyone to wear masks. The entitlement of these people.
Who pays for the room? The county? Obviously not the homeless guys.Hotels in the International Drive area where tourists and convention guests stay are housing homeless men that have tested positive for Covid19. One of the hotels is a Best Western.

Correct. Orange County taxpayers paying the bill.Who pays for the room? The county? Obviously not the homeless guys.
Makes sense. The hotels are facing a tough uphill battle for a while I guess they look at as good money they don’t want to turn down. For the county it’s probably a good negotiated rate and cheaper than building temporary shelters. Seems like a win/win. I hope they plan to do a deep cleaning before they cut back over to a hotel.Correct. Orange County taxpayers paying the bill.
Seems like a very sensible solution -- hotels can get some income, core staff stay employed, rooms are kept active (cleaned, air conditioned, plumbing doesn't develop airlocks etc) and infections are reduced because positive homeless are isolated and not on the streets. I'm sure deep cleaning will take place as rooms are vacated. I hope that as well as being accommodated, other services are being made available to the homeless people, including medical and mental health support as necessary.Hotels in the International Drive area where tourists and convention guests stay are housing homeless men that have tested positive for Covid19.

Good
They're wrong. Any business can demand it's clientele adhere to specific rules. Dress codes, smoking rules, rules about pets, etc.If you read most tweets, it's mostly them saying it's a constitutional right violation. I can't with these people.

And even worse, they may force an "amuse bouche" on you which you didn't order. Got to be suspect if they are trying to get you to eat something you didn't ask for.I'm boycotting Victoria and Alberts because they're trying to force me to wear a shirt.
However, never underestimate the power of home-grown conspiracy nuts who believe in a flat earth, that vaccines are harmful, and it ain't getting warmer.
Add California Grill and their dress code.I'm boycotting Victoria and Alberts because they're trying to force me to wear a shirt.
I totally agree with you. It's why also a canceled my Costco membership. Costco can make whatever rules it wants and I can shop wherever I want. Everyone wins. They're wrong. Any business can demand it's clientele adhere to specific rules. Dress codes, smoking rules, rules about pets, etc.

I think most of the people screaming for the country to open are small business owners and people that are out of work. You do realize 30 million people just lost their jobs. I know a few people that are financially ruined by this, and many others that are worried about being laid off in the future.
When we have the worldwide referendum on what will greeting should replace the handshake this might be my front runner.I wouldn't be mad if handshakes were never a thing ever again. Kinda silly way to greet people of you think about it.
My favorite is the way people in Afghanistan greet each other, by placing their hand over their heart and nodding with eye contact.
