Trip Report (Completed)We tried to walk but you walk like a sloth.

Our family is heading back to WDW!

Top to bottom, left to right. Me, Hubby, Bear, Ninja, Jet and Handsome.

After a three year hiatus Paca and Grandma will be joining us again. We are all so excited!

I never thought I would purposely plan a Spring break trip however with swimming, soccer, hockey, school and work to work around. It was the best we could do.

I had sticker shock when we looked at room and decided to do a split stay so we could get standard rooms at each resort.

April 8-12 Contemporary-garden wing
April 12-15 Yachtsman- standard

We are looking forward to walking to Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary. That’s our favorite part of that resort. The kids are SOOOOO excited for Strormalong Bay!!! We wanted to stay the whole trip at Beach Club but we waited too long so 3 nights at the Yachtsman was our compromise for my little fish!

Thanks! He wanted Spider-Man but we couldn’t find any. He has a pair of Mickey (black with no bow) and these. I really think they are missing a marketing segment by not having more “boy” ears.

I agree. My friend recently went with her son and he wanted some but they couldn't find any so they bought a pair with a bow and asked the CM for some scissors and she cut the bow off.

April 9th- VIP Tour All 4 Parks!

We slept in late (by Disney standards) we had a 9am reservation at Ravello at the Four Seasons. We booked two Ubers since there were 8 of us. We had a hard time finding them since the Garden Wing was under construction it was difficult to navigate the Contemporary. Drivers found and we were on our way. This resort is beautiful and we liked getting glimpse of the homes onsite.

I lost a niece 6 years ago and my sister always says when we see butterflies that’s her saying hello. The material used at the resort made me a smile.

Our friend who invited us on the tour arrived. He walked over from his house! I can’t imagine how wonderful that would be!! Anyways we were quickly seated after his arrival. The characters came out quickly to greet us and the server dropped off delicious bottomless mimosas.

I didn’t get any food pictures however it was amazing. The fruit was so sweet and ripe and the pancakes were the best I have ever had. For breakfast it’s pricey and out of the way but if you ever get a chance to go. Do it!!

After breakfast it was time to get our tour started!!! Our driver Holly (seriously the best!!!!) picked us up from the Four Seasons. I unfortunately don’t have as many pictures from this day as I usually take since backstage areas are off limits for pictures. Our first stop was DHS and we decided to start with MMRR.

This was the first time we saw the pre show and suddenly the whole ride made sense!!!

I never realized these hidden Mickeys were in the lights! This one’s for you @Doc Disney.

It was 11:30am and Holly told us it was time to pick up the pace. She navigates us to Batuu. I was so impressed how she always new the fastest ways across a park. Paca and Grandma had their first ride in ROTR.

Handsome then checked in with Chewy for some driving tips since Smugglers Run was our next stop.

Meanwhile Jet found a new role model and was talking Holly’s ear off.

They loved it! The slight drop surprised them but they couldn’t believe the technology.

It was time to leave Batuu behind and head to Toy Story Land. One thing the kids loved was Holly showing them hidden Mickeys that they had never seen and teaching them where the cameras were on every ride. She would plan poses with them before each ride. Slinky was up first.

Handsome asking for a loop de loop. Since he is not tall enough he couldn’t wIt to go upside down on a ride. Not yet buddy!

You’ll see they get the hang of poses for the pictures as the week goes on.

Next on the agenda Midway Mania. Holly told the kiddos to focus on the volcano to bump up their scores. Not sure it worked but we had fun trying.

It was 1:00 so we were 3 hours into our 8 hour tour. We needed to huddle if we were doing everything we planned. Off to Handsome’s long awaited loop de loop.

Major mom fail I didn’t get his picture except the ride photo.

Our last DHS ride was TOT. During the tour we basically joined the Lightning Lane line. This one was pretty backed up but we had some entertainment.

They were doing a bit where Goofy and Max were packing for a trip and the kids had to make sure he brought everything the needed.

At one point the handler was listing items the kids were telling Goofy and the castmember said we are bring too much stuff it won’t fit in the suitcase. Handsome yelled. “Don’t bring the PJ’s you can sleep in underwear like my Dad.”

Holly & Grandma sat this one out but the kids poses are improving.

Thank you! All they ever wear anymore are t-shirts and gym shorts. When they told me they wanted to dress up for tour day I was all in! The days of big bows and matching dresses are behind us.

There is a wall close to Rock N’ Rollercoaster that we slipped behind and it led us to our van. We were given water and snacks and off we went.

Ninja doing a little light reading in the WSJ. Handsome mask free as he finished up his snacks.

I have no photo proof however we pulled up to the back of FOP which looks like any industrial building from behind. We took an elevator that the castmember let us know Ariana Grande has just used. Our girls were likeand on the lookout for her. Spoiler: We didn’t see her! However everyone loved the ride especially Paca! He said awesome 100 times through his flight.

Epcot was our next destination. We had our hearts set on Ratatouille. Driving back side of World showcase was interesting. All the Food and Wine booths and trays of plants. To be honest it reminded me of a flea market. My kids asked Holly if she had gone the right way? We pulled up to what was clearly the back of France as another VIP tour departed. My girls were stretching their necks hoping it was Ariana Grande. Spoiler: It wasn’t. I had no clue that my children even knew who she .

I think I said before how we join the Lightning Lane line, well the lane was stretched back around the corner. Holly was sure this wasn’t the line so she had us stay where we were and she went to see what was going on.

I guess the ride had been down earlier and we were standing in the aftermath. We could feel our tour minutes ticking by and Holly said we may need to adjust our plans.

She decided she would scan us in and then leave us to ride. She said she was going to move the van behind Norway so we wouldn’t need to wind back through World Showcase.
We made our way to the inside queue and off she went.

I didn’t take any pictures on the ride since it was our first time. It was a cute little whip but I was sad we wasted 30 minutes of our tour in that line.

We regrouped and started the trek to Norway. We pushed Grandma in a wheelchair this trip. She didn’t want to drive a scooter but she knew she couldn’t keep up otherwise. Well navigating WDW with a wheelchair is harder than a stroller!! I really missed Holly’s plaid power that made the seas part. However we made it and jumped right on the ride.

Oh my goodness Holly looks like so much fun! She is awesome at these photos and I can't wait to see the kids doing them on their own. Maybe Jet is gonna be a CP participant?!
