Trip Report **Complete** It's a meet-up-palooza!

We are back and I gotta get this trip report show on the road before my memory fails! Hopefully my notes and pictures will carry me!

When: Sept 14th - 16th and Sept 16th - 24th, 2019

I don't know what it is about Buzz but the FP line is always ridiculously long. So frustrating!

We got our room ready text right after getting on the ME bus. I had requested Toy Story 1st floor. We got Toy Story 3rd floor. I didn't make a fuss because it was only 2 nights and we didn't have an ECV until we moved over to PoP.

So we went directly to the room. It looked just like PoP renovations, but looks can be deceiving.

I only noticed because we have just been talking about this in someone else's TR... 2 differences I found.... 1. unlike PoP, you didn't have a choice in shower heads... this only came with the rain shower.

and 2. there are shelves missing in the hang up closet.

We dropped the luggage and off to World Premiere we went for food. We wanted to try the super secret menu.

We got the cinnamon bun bacon cheeseburger and the poutine.

The burger we would get again. The poutine though was awful... the gravy wasn't too warm, and the cheese curds were ice cold, so there was no melting going on... bleh

We also grabbed some desserts.

The Jack cupcake was really tasty! It had a lime goo inside that was nice and bright. The chocolate cake was amazing too! We got 1 drink to split... and this dinner cost us $40+ dollars... WHUT! I almost fainted... and this folks is why I like the dining plan. Especially when it's free.

After dinner we walked around the resort to check it out, but it was getting dark so no pictures. We stopped in the smoking area on the way back to the room so hubby could have a pipe, and while we were sitting there he said, "Why is there a bucket of chicken over there?"

It was getting late and we decided to go back to the room to watch TV.... except there was no remote... anywhere... I tore that room apart! Finally I admitted defeat and called. It took them forever to bring one, and I did finally figure out how to work the joystick channel changer on the back of the TV before they came...

OK, time to get to work. Wish me luck!

Well it took me almost 2 weeks to get here, but here I am. I don’t like the room at all. There is nothing that I saw that says Disney. It looks like any old Best Western room.

You do have a renovated room right? With the murphy bed?

Some people don't like that stark white look, I get that... I'm ok with the mickeys above the headboard and the huey, dewey, and luey, being on the murphy bed headboard. That's plenty of Disney for me. If you don't like that, you wouldn't like POP either.

White = clean to me.

I must be getting older because when I look at that outfit, all I can think is: spandex/lycra bodysuit on a hot and humid FL summer day!!! 🥵

And you know me, always noticing random details in pictures. I see a few guys trying hard not to look at "neon green lady" in front of their partners! 😆

I left off waiting from Scott to come from POP to MK... I had set his alarm wrong, so he was running later than I wanted him to, and I worried about him not getting there in time for our secondary transportation. We were texting back and forth, but his phone is an android and it seems to take so long for him to send and receive messages! I thought he was on the later bus, but he got to the bus stop just in time to catch the earlier bus. Whew... he had to go thru security, and then we were off to the boats!

Just call this an artistic shot where you can see the lit up train station and a little bit of the water!

Scott and I love this show..we describe it as cheesy americana...

The players have changed since the last time we were there.. and Twobits is no longer Equity Ben 😢
But the new Twobits was quite funny!

I'm not a huge drinker, but this white sangria was quite tasty... I accidentally asked for the red last time... and didn't love it.

But as usual the food was awesome... the main entrees are chicken and ribs

Along with mash potatoes, green beans, baked beans, salad, corn bread, and this was new... they automatically brought out macaroni & cheese.

They changed the Shortcake song a little bit... I was kinda sad about that..... they seem to change the show around here and there... I'm wondering if when different actors come in, they make it there own a bit?

Regardless, the shortcake was still amazing!

We got lots of compliments on our shirts! I just realized I never got a picture of Scott in his... but his is just like mine, except it's orange.

I love your Hoop-Dee-Doo shirts! We go every time we’re at the world. We love the show, the kids love the show, it’s a win-win! Plus sangria is a bonus. When I was a kid there was a breakfast show, but that was awhile ago. Back then we could spend the day at River Country, and feed the goats at the petting zoo. one of these years I’m going to take the kids to a movie and roasting marshmallows at Fort Wilderness. Do Chip and Dale still turn up?

I'm not sure, we've never been to that, only to Hoop Dee Doo... no characters there =D
