Yes, the buckets are still there!

I dined there last August, and as @Rista1313 said, some folks use them to discard carcasses. I also saw many using them to carry clams, mussels, shrimp and crab legs from the buffet to their tables.

Here's a picture of one of my (many!) plates and The Bucket. ;)

That makes me oddly happy lol. As a 15 year old I was not keen on eating shellfish out of the shells, but the fun of filling up the buckets got me to try a lot of things I wouldn’t have otherwise

Finishing up Friday night.

After Dinner we needed a walk from all that food, so we headed towards the boardwalk... on the way there is a smoking area at the Yacht club, so Scott had himself a quick pipe. Then we walked up over the bridge, where we stopped to watch the fireworks for a few minutes... we walked around the boardwalk for a bit, at nothing in particular.. just trying to walk our food babies off... and just like last time we would catch a Lyft from the Boardwalk, but Scott was lementing at the big staircase, so we actually went inside the hotel this time and took the elevator up, which brought us to very cool views of the boardwalk. Scott was enamored with all the carousel items in the lobby and the woodwork.

He definitely made it known that he would like to stay there one day. Looks like I'll have to check into renting DVC points.

We caught that Lyft and went home, and Scott tweaked his back getting out of the car.... No, folks, not on a roller coaster, or any of the rides, from getting out of a car.... gah! Also to note, the driver was VERY smelly.... which is probably why Scott was in a hurry to get out of the car and not mindful of how he was getting out!

Next up... rest day?

I feel you. My husband once threw out his back putting his jacket on🤦🏻‍♀️
Anytime I've thrown mine out it's always something simple that causes it. Like just turning wrong the slightest bit. Although, one time it happened on Space Mountain. I felt pain during the ride & I knew I was in trouble. After 3 months of sheer torture I ended up having to get injections in my back to calm it down.

The next morning Scott's back was feeling a little bit better... but not 100%. Luckily I had scheduled a sort of rest day for us. This morning I went in search of cream cheese for the delicious bagels that @Darstarr has schlepped all the way from New York for me, but I could not find any... so we made due with butter and jelly.

Here I am working on my poses... I think I need more lessons @Doc Disney

I did two loads of laundry again before lunch... it's so nice being able to pack clean clothes instead of dirty. Only one side of my suitcase came home with dirty clothes.

We didn't have plans for lunch, but we decided to go to Disney Springs and check out Chicken Guy... While I was waiting in line, Scott left me and went to the Marvel store, and came back with a Groot Coffee mug. He knew we didn't have room for one more mug, so he waiting until he escaped my clutches to get it! All I got was this Chicken Guy cup with a real straw!

I got to ride on the big guys bus!

I gotta say the tenders were nothing special... the sauces were good, and really that's what his place is all about... the sauces.

We weren't in the mood to stay long, so we left right after lunch. Scott's back was still hurting, and it was time for his afternoon nap.

Now, originally on our "rest" day, I had made a few FP+'s for the MK in the late afternoon, since there were a few more things I wanted to do, and we had to head in that direction for the evenings festivities anyway. Scott said he would rather stay in the room and rest, and I should go without him and do the things I wanted to do. (this is how he got out of some of my favorite rides)

Not wanting to miss some of my favorite sentimental things, I took him up on it.

On the bus on the way over, there was a bride and her bridesmaids... the Bride looked like she was wearing lingerie, and her court was all in pink hoochi dresses with high heals.... WHY OH WHY?

MK was a little bit busy.

I'm not sure why I took this pictures, but it's not why you think it is!

As I got down main street, the seas parted, and the Photo pass gal had no one in line.

My first fast pass was for HM.

416843

It was pretty warm, and I didn't bring my water bottle because I didn't want to take it to dinner with us... so I stopped at Columbia Harbour House and got a glass of ice water. I love the cylinder ice cubes!

After HM, I made my way to the teacups. Although, this isn't my favorite ride, it has sentimental value for me. Here's why: My first time to Disney World was when my Grand Parents took me for the day when I was 18. We went to MK, and the only ride I specifically remember was going on the Teacups with my grandfather. This would be my last day with my Grandparents ever, as they were killed in a horrible car accident just a few weeks after I turned 19. So I took a whirl for them!

My next FP was for Small World... another ride the Scott refuses to go on... although, we had made a deal this year... he would ride, but he would bring his headphones and listen to his own music on his phone. He got out of this deal!

I love the goats.

416846

The screens were working today, but the boats were backed up and we were playing bumper boats. Good thing Scott wasn't with my afterall, that would have really hurt his back.

416848

I headed towards my last fast pass, and I thought I would try to take a ride on the people mover, but the line was 25 minutes! Then I headed toward Buzz for my last fast pass, but I think they were having trouble with the line, because the fast pass line was around the ropes and long, not having time to deal with that. I headed towards the front of the park, as Scott was going to catch the bus and meet me.

I have never seen Sonny Eclipse, so I stopped in to say hello for a moment.

416849

And by the time I got to the front of the park, I still had a little time left, so I sat on a bench, and people watched for a bit.

Next up: On our way to dinner.

About the lime green romper that you caught in one of your pictures, I don’t know which is worse: that someone designed and made it, or that someone bought and wore it. I’d say lime green is best as an accent color...

My big question is why would you wear that to a theme park? It wasn't a party night, so my mind has no justification!
