Great map, Space. :)
Thanks!

I like it! I was under the impression that villains was its own land, but this works too. My only suggestion would be moving Tangled to the forest, and adding Snow White there (maybe at the bottom half? Wonderland could be moved up and the London theming would work with Pooh. The "German" attractions could be given their own forest, maybe near the Swiss village, or just their own part of the existing forest).
I agree Tangled can move to that empty space in the forest.

I predict we will go through a lot of variation with the land but thats okay!

You're in luck, there is actually already a company that has the combined names. :)

Hmmmm...

My first question is whether this is a "best of" type thing, or a brand new imagining. So without reading 50 pages of forum posts, some random thoughts (assuming it is more of a new imagining):

- Would it be sacrilege to incorporate Frozen into the Matterhorn? The Matterhorn to me as it is today seems more of an adventure land type of ride than fantasy-land, and I think a Frozen integration could bridge that gap (even if we use more subtle influences instead of saying "FROZEN ROLLERCOASTER").

- I love the concept of the disneyland castle walk-through, but the one time I did it it was a little bland. For the "castle attraction", I would go heavy on the castle theming. If it is a dark ride, maybe even have a short part of it go outside on a balcony on one of the barristers or something (or the same thing if it is a walk-through). Also some classic Disney magic to make it seem like the castle is much bigger than it actually is.

- For a second when I saw Wonderland I thought Neverland? Regardless, for peter pan, maybe have a london-ish facade, but when you walk inside the queue you are in neverland (think harry potter OR the forest in the ET queue). If we are going real inventive, maybe create the dark ride using those inverted flying roller-coaster cars, so you actually get to fly through the dark ride.

- I would steal one of my ideas from the recent compo for this one. As a non-attraction idea, incorporate the 101 dalmations across the entire fantasyland, with the ability to purchase a booklet to track them (or just track them yourself, or create an app to track them by taking pictures). They could be out in the open, in little hidden crevices, hidden in certain attractions, only seen when certain characters come out for meet and greets, etc).

- I also think you need at least one A+ dining spot in each land. In my opinion the best venues are the intimate ones, like the west wing in Beast's Castle. I think a neat idea would be adding one to the Villain's area. You could do a bunch of cool things with the theming, and even have the wait staff act a particular way, kinda like they do at 50s Prime Time.

Excellent ideas!

Actually I might take you up on that Frozen Matterhorn -- I could see that being a reality and that would be an interesting way to incorporate it into the land as something new, but with influence from the old (that way we just aren't copying the ride entirely)

And 101 Dalmatians could be fun especially if its already written up! And I agree about the A+ restaurant as well...something that adds kinetic energy and is unique.

These are great ideas.
View media item 2621Again, I'll post this picture to show you what I was thinking for Peter Pan. Like you said, the queue would start in the London nursery, then transition to Neverland.

I had some spare time on my hands between studying, so I figured I'd make a playlist for our brainstorming! No direct connection to the parks, but I chose songs that had a quality that resembled Fantasyland in some way... very abstract, but I think it paid off :D

Ladies and gentlemen, hear ye, hear ye! Behold, the first of many Club 32 playlists, The Fantasyland Project! Please enjoy, and share your opinions on it too, so I can make the next ones even better! :)

Oh, I hate Spotify, if I'm being honest. Some recent new features have just made me lackadaisical to rejoin Apple Music... :p

You get a chance to watch Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 today? I wrapped them up around midnight and was so impressed :jawdrop::jawdrop:
I would have if I didn't have to shovel like 14 inches of snow lol I will probably watch the first one tonight if there's time
