I'd hope so. What I know of so far looks promising.

(And a few other things made me want to cry but hopefully they're not happening)
When you say radically different do you mean Aesthetic or thematic purposes. Aesthetic I can get behind. Thematic, Not so much.

I would even be happy if Mission Space used the Wonders Of Life building to be the rest of the pavilion... Get off the ride and take a shuttle across a martian landscape to Mars Base... and then fit the old WOL with a could spiffy new attractions...
I think they would need to re-design the Mission Space Exterior to integrate better with Wonders of Life.

How do you hear all this? So cool that we have insider knowledge here on the boards.

We have about a dozen insiders in these forums. Some are more active than others. Some more likely to talk about future plans while others only confirm what's been leaked. Some work or used to work for Disney, some are outside contractors, or in fields that allow them to get into parks (e.g., inspectors). Some know a full range of what's happening all over the place, some only know the specific area they interact with.

As far as I know, no one knows what will be announced at D23 events or at shareholder meetings, so, we all should stop asking about when announcements will be made. Sometimes even Iger doesn't know since that's often up to PR and marketing. And even then, PR and marketing are often in the dark. So, insiders know Ratatouille and gondolas are greenlit, they generally don't know when they'll be announced.

Fair enough, I apologize to those insiders that I may have insulted by not including them in my comments. I appreciate all the insiders and the information they share on this forum. I only really know of one, and am not as familiar with others. Maybe we should put "Insider" under their "Premium Member" tag.

Sorry, I was referring to the Mission: Space refurbishment. I'm wondering if it will be a simple refresh, or a substantial change in experience.
Yes, and the upcoming closure is specifically for construction. The actual attraction refresh could happen during that time or be held off for later.

I'm thoroughly sad they got rid of such a classic. The new ride itself looks interesting for fans of the movie although I can't help but feel like it looks like a differently decorated hotel still. I kind of wish since they were RIP'ing the attraction, they could have really revamped the building. Happy the WDW ToT is still kicking, and secretly I would go to Cali for that Baby Groot AA.

Plus lets remember that Marvel as not always done well. It had its slumps.

So there is still the potential that people get fed up with superheroes for the moment (specially at the rate Marvel/DC is throwing them)
Many of us already are. I know I am tired of that new show "The Mis-Adventures of Agent Orange" which seems to be on TV 24/7.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I can, assuming it fits. I have actually been lobbying for an Inside Out re-invigoration of Wonders of Life . and as long as The Land, Mission Space and Spaceship Earth don't get IP infusions I can make peace with it. Energy, I am still holding my breath on.
I truly feel that I am the only person who did not care one whit for Inside Out. I wasn't crazy about Zootopia either; so what do I know?!? :hilarious:

I thought Moana was outstanding, if that redeems my taste in movies at all.
