Trip Report Clark & Ellen are headed on vacation! Alone!!! (Semi-Live) **Complete**

So, with many bumps in the road, along the way- and our 3rd ever trip anywhere alone, in many, many years- guess what??) Disney, the Beach? We are there!
This will be the longest trip, we have ever done alone since having kids.

Let’s just say- we need this!

I have 3 1/2 hours before I wake B up, and oh my gosh! Worse than waiting on Christmas!

A quick pic, of us, in September, last year, on a solo trip. 3 year olds. Basically.

I hate to ride in a car, B loves driving down- Thus the reason he is asleep and I am awake. He sleeps during the day and I stay awake. His hope is I will pass out and shut up and not complain.

With that said, if Life is a Highway - I wanna sleep all night long!



We also totally relate to the Griswolds, and you can bet that this will be played, full blast, as always as we depart!



Can you imagine if they made a Vacation movie with just Clark & Ellen? Lol

Hoping for a sunrise arrival again. This will be our shortest Disney trip ever at 4 days, but hey, still a Disney trip right? Looking very forward to laying on the beach for a Long time too. Day one Ft. Wilderness Cabins, then 3 days at Coronado-

Going out in style! Last full day, started DHS, ToT, RnRC, Full World Showcase stroll, to MK- HM, Splash, Two BTMRR, a boat ride to Poly. Had a complete stranger at the smoking section buy us a drink. Lol. And not only did I meet Remy again.. but got a stroll around too! ❤️

I did something that I have not done, in a long time... I cried so hard leaving the parks tonight- I couldn’t hold it back at all.
We didn’t do as much most days as we normally do, but it did not matter. Today was an old school park hop all over the place and I loved that.
We had so much fun. The only place I thought the smoking area was absurd is MK. I am not walking to the bus line. Took a boat to the Poly and had one there. For anyone counting, I had a total of 3.
For me it was the point that they couldn’t tell me what changes would be when we had booked and paid so long ago. I am stubborn as can be, but not stubborn enough to hurt myself.
With that said, ya Anniversary trip is apparently back on, before APs expire. Lol so Star Wars opening, and all I eat crow again. Going back in the morning before we head to the beach. I will post the rest of many, many photos, while I lay in chair, doing nothing but catching a few fish and later walking a kazillion miles on the shore! Thanks for following along and few more updates coming. :)

Oh, I understand your frustration with the new smoking policy.
I had a few "moments" too.

Some times are harder than others, but with the days passing, it"ll get better, you'll see! ;)

Well, after a quick goodbye to our favorite, Gail at Coronado- we are headed to the beach. Great trip, tons of fun even if it was a bit crowded.
It was great meeting @Tuvalu and just being by ourselves too.

If you ever get the opportunity to talk to Gail at Coronado-it is a blessing! She has helped us since 2014 and 6 stays there. Absolutely love her to death!

I did have a few odd things happen- a child crawling under my stall and just like looking up at me. Why do people not watch their kids?

And the very blistered guys that kept wanting to buy us drinks lol. They were very nice but hammered. I hope he didn’t wake up this morning and realize he spent too much money because apparently he was buying them for anybody. Lol
