Cinderella's Chateau Discussion

What do YOU think we could possibly get extra just by thinking about the Imagineer's quote?

Who knows. But I'm not expecting too much.

Like I said, this is the only one of the M&G that I think is a good idea, so I'm content with what is already there.

Actually, I think that the large building behind the Chateau is THE M&G! If you look at the blueprints, you'll notice that there is a kind of plus sign building right outside the M&G. This I assume is the Chateau and the big building behind the plus sign building is housing the M&G attraction inside, as indicated by the blueprints.

But this doesn't explain what else we'd see besides the m&g unless they mean there is much more to this meet and greet.

The blueprints show two sets of rooms for the Cinderella M&G "experience" to double the capacity of the experience. You enter into a common central foyer, and then like the stretching rooms in the Mansion, you are ushered either to the left or right. You then have a pair of rooms for each side. The first one larger than the second.

My guess is that the "training" and "magical transformation" will happen in the first large room, and then the second smaller room will be one that Cinderella walks to with the children for actual Meet & Greet photo ops. Then each side will exit back out to the front of the chateau.
*Behind* all this (ie on the Little Mermaid side of the building) are backstage corridors to allow CM access to these M&G areas, as well as to the Aurora M&G next-door. There also appears to be a small shop on the backside of the building, facing the Little Mermaid attraction.

I'd put a LOT more weight on the blueprints than the concept art. (At least in terms of the Phase I construction) The external "chateau" will probably be either forced perspective, or it'll be designed in such a way as to hide the fact that there's this large building behind it containing all the M&G rooms.

I'm hoping the same.

Personally, I wish they would add something to the Sleeping Beauty M&G instead. It by far is the weakest one, IMO.

Agree on all counts. I still onder why Tink has such a huge area while Aurora has a tiny cottage. I hope the "cleaning" will be cool and have some special effects, but odds are it won't compare to the others.

Indeed. Although I don't mind Tink getting that much space.

In my opinion, I'd rather Aurora stays like that and they give some more space to Alice so she could get her own little area. I'm still hoping those huge flowers near her teacups are part of her area.

Plus the blue prints are correct on Dumbo Mini-Land location as it is now near the speedway.

Yes, the concept art is different for Dumbo and Pixie Hollow, but if you look at the blueprints, those two areas are much fainter and grey than the hard, black lines of the rest of the expansion. That led me to believe that the Phase I part of the expansion was a lot more set-in-stone than Phase II. Then the concept art came out showing Dumbo and Pixie Hollow swapped.

Oops, I meant blue prints were incorrect toward the new concept art, since like you said, dumbo and pixie hollow have been swapped.

The revised concept art that Progress City has posted up kind of makes Belle, Cindy, Pooh, and Ariel definite while the teacups area, Dumbo, and PH is still blurry making it not yet definite if you will.

That new concept art has an even better defined HUGE building
with Cinderella. Hmmm.

Yes indeed, the imagineers Chris Beatty, and Jon Gorges said that we will be getting more than just the transformation and the meet and greet. What could this mean. That big building is causing much speculation. And what in the world is that windmill-like thing behind the Cindy building?
