Rumor Cinderella Castle turning rose gold for the 50th

Someone posted this back when they first painted it. The 50th trimmings but with the gray base. Looks much better.

Me to, I'm currently making plans to return for my 124 birthday celebration. It better be back to whatever color it was or I'm going to give them what for! So be forewarned Disney, I'll show no mercy.

I well and truly hate it this color scheme. Not in a "oh no I don't like change" sort of way, but in a - I just don't think it looks very good at all way. "Rose gold" was all the rage a couple of years ago, but it's time has passed - it looks generic and just isn't Cinderella Castle to me looking that way.

I mean it’s at least going to be here through the 50th so only about 6 Months. I’m not offended that they changed the color it looks fine, I think the pink is a little too saturated but that’s it. The castle looks nothing like it does in the original Cinderella film anyway so that doesn’t matter IMO.

Guess I am in the minority ---saw the cake castle for the 25th and liked it DW has a t shirt castle cake on the front undecorated castle on the back

Minority here as well. I missed seeing the castle cake in person, but I have a family member who took a bunch of high quality close up shots, but he brought me back that shirt mentioned, which I really like.

What surprised me when I saw it earlier in the year is under cloud the castle looks more brown than pink.

It wasn’t the original intention to repaint.

They would just patch with the current colors. It shouldn’t need a full repaint for awhile.
