BTW, I have a question for you: I just printed out your registries, and there wasn't anything listed like linens. Does that mean you don't need any? Also, what kind of style decorating do you like or dislike? I'm assuming from the registry you prefer a modern look, but are there other styles you like as well?
We really struggled w/ the linens when we were registering...we just weren't sure what to register for since we're not sure how we're going to want to decorate a house that we're not in yet...if that makes sense. :veryconfu We did register for some towels, we each picked a color that we liked. And I'm not sure if we've discovered our decorating style yet...we're still kind of learning.
:lol: But we seem to steer towards fairly modern stuff. DF isn't really a flower person (I would be in trouble if he was! :lol
so I do try to steer away from them. Not much help, am I?

Thanks for the info. I started out kind of country, but I'm moving toward modern. I think because of the simplicity of it. And I think working in clay has had a big influence, it's made me take a second look at modern art and really think about it.

Well I live near Detroit, Michigan right now. I moved here about two years ago to be with the boy. We had been doing long distance for about 3 years and were tired of it. I left the job that I really loved to come here. I really don't like it here and don't like the job I have. But I have been waiting to search for another one because Damon's job has been kind of up in the air of where we will be. So obviously I don't want to find a new job that I like just to move again.
He got a new job in which he is going to be mostly travelling through his territory. So really we can live pretty much wherever. He is talking about moving back to Grand Rapids, then I could go back to the job I used to have (they call me all the time wanting me to come back). And most of our friends live there, so while he is travelling I will actually have someone to hang out with. Since I have no friends here.
That is the story in a nutshell. I just really want to move. He wants to do this job for a month or two and see how it goes before deciding if moving is a good idea. Like I don't want us to move, if he is going to be working in Detroit every other day you know?

I saw Young Frankenstein on Saturday.
It was HILARIOUS.
The cast was sooooo good. Sutton Foster's understudy was in, but she was very enjoyable, too.

Yes I love it there. I am just praying it will work out. I miss it so much, and I miss having a job I actually care about.
