Speaking of feeling old... I just realized yesterday that I graduated college more than five years ago... I couldn't believe it... more than five years ago. In a way it feels like just a year or so ago, but in a different way it feels like a lifetime ago. It's just weird.

BYYYYYYYYYYYY THE WAY...

on lunch I went to Target to get dryer sheets and laundry detergent and I got to the detergent aisle and there was literally just an ENORMOUS wall with roughly 800 different detergents...

I stood there for no joke... 10 minutes and just stared at everything beyond overwhelmed... I didn't even know if it was definitely detergent... but they all said entirely different things they did but all the bottles looked identical and I absolutely freaked out... so I called my mom and she didn't answer, and I remember she's on a plane so I freaked out...

I just stood there nearly in tears cuz I didn't wanna like ruin my clothes... so I called my roommates and was like "can I use your detergent for now?"

luckily they said yes...

totally almost ruined everything I own... it was a close one...

Basically, if it's not got bleach in it, you should have been fine. Don't buy anything with bleach in it.

Yeah...bleach turns your clothes white...it would remove all the color in your clothes. Bleach, in this instance=bad. Now, if you had all white clothes and they were dingy looking, then using something with bleach wouldn't kill it...but I tend to just stay away from bleach to begin with.

Only time I use it is in cleaning my bathroom. (It smells like a pool...:lookaroun )

I can just throw all my clothes together into one load and use cold water right?

In an apartment with a fiance who can't see it, 4 cats, & a very curious puppy. :veryconfu I told him we're driving 20 hours with it this weekend anyway so he said to go ahead and keep it in the garment bag (I call it a 'tent', way too big for a garment bag) and then get it out in Omaha. We're staying at my aunt & uncles the early part of the week so I can do that there. Just have to make sure the dog doesn't decide it's a big, squishy bed on the car ride.
He did say it could get wrinkly so I really don't know what I'll do if it does. :shrug:

Well, I've never tried it... but I wouldn't suggest it.

At least try to seperate whites, darks (blacks, reds) and other colors.
