Characters holding babies?

That is correct. The characters are not supposed to hold babies (that being said, once in awhile one of the characters may hold the baby in their lap. But they technically are not supposed to).

No, no, no! It is a huge safety issue for the characters and any children. Don't even try to hand a child to a character...
Would anyone really want to give a tiny baby to one of our fury friends to hold? The characters are of course the best, but some of them have pretty big hands, and arent the most nimble. Rules or not, I wouldnt take the chance out of pure common sense.

I once had a mother ask Chip and Dale if they could hold her ONE MONTH OLD who was a MONTH PREMATURE!!!!! We were all shocked beyond belief!!!

back in the early 90's, chip (or dale, forget which one) took my baby brother from his high chair, and laid on the ground holding him above him (kinda like superman) and then would bring him back down and my brother kept licking his nose. Guess that wont happen any time soon again due to all the legal issues.

I remember once when I was working with Pooh at Pooh's Playground, there was a woman who was insistant that Pooh should hold her baby. Well, she takes a step forward, trips, and nearly drops her baby herself! I was so close to telling her "do you see now why the characters can't hold babies?".
I happen to be good friends with Mike there. I feel so bad for him (even though it is funny).
