While Indy5 is a financial flop, everyone seems to agree it's better than Crystal Skull.

Crystal Skull was directed by Spielberg with story by Lucas and produced by Frank Marshal. And Disney hadn't bought LucasFilm yet.

So KK produced a better IJ movie than Crystal Skull. That's a low bar, but better than what Spielberg/Lucas did last.

But get this: I heard the KK is about to get fired.

I've been hearing this for the past eight years.

For the past eight years, twitter and YouTube channels have been filled with BREAKING NEWS!! that KK is about to be fired. Their reliable sources told them so.

She was an executive producer alongside Lucas for Crystal Skull, so not sure what point you’re trying to make here

Yes, but THIS time they will be right. You'll see... and when they aren't, they will conveniently forget about it or make some excuse why it didn't happen, just like the previous 1000+ times over the last decade the rage nerd community on YouTube claimed she was going to be fired.

Eventually they will be right as she will get canned or retire (which they will claim is a super-secret firing) or pass away just like everyone else who ever worked a job in the history of the universe and then they will pile in to tell you how right they were.

I haven't been a fan of a lot of the studios output under her and wouldn't be opposed to a change if it produced a better product but the over-the-top hate for her is ridiculous, unnecessary, and frankly childish.

She’s a focal point…which happens with many things across a broad spectrum every single day

Cause “humans”

People still to this day are demanding an 80 year old infectious disease expert be thrown in jail cause something no one ever planned for happened and nobody knew what to do.

We aren’t all that “rational” on a standard day.


As far as kennedy goes…I think she was miscast a bit, being given failing mandates from above…and probably in time will be found to be put in a position with Nearly zero chance to succeed from the jump.

However…lucasfilm is failing on a level that can’t he explained away. They have bombed it. DISNEY…on purpose. All the mistakes are highly predictable/preventable.

So would a “retirement” at any point over the last 5 years have been a surprise ?
Not for a nanosecond. The egomaniac Napoleon has been firing people by the handfuls - it’s not doing a damn thing - and it’s gonna continue.
