They're waiting for final approval from the Florida government. After it's approved I anticipate they will move fast, given BTMR is currently closed.Do we have an official date when they’re going to close the river?

The fact that there’s a giant lagoon separating the parking lot to the park means it’s pretty guaranteed to always be around. What makes anyone think that the ferries will always be there.... I would not be shocked to see the MK Ferry to the TTC discontinued at some point and everyone forced onto eithe Monorail or bus... for operational simplicity and budget cutting....
DL removed thier marina from the hotel and replaced it with concrete. ROA is the only water with actual boats in the entire resort unlike WDW where MK, Epcot, DHS, Disney springs, and 12 different hotels offer boat transportation to a park.Best of luck….
I’m lying.

I can agree it is a shame to lose, but i’ve never seen ROA the same as at DL. They have shows, 2 different boats, and canoes. One of my fav things about DL is sitting at Cafe Orleans outside and just watching the boats go by. Nothing like that is at MK, except maybe if you sat on the second floor of the columbia house but you need to be right up against the window to look out at anything. But if DL lost its ROA, there would be no more boats to ride while at WDW we still have several.True but that doesn’t mean it’s not a boneheaded decision and that the ROA isn’t an integral part of the MK.
