Disagreeing with someone isn’t harassment. Most don’t agree with me and that’s ok. It’s a discussion board. I think things are trending the wrong way, and some think everything is perfect.
Of course it isn’t. I was commenting on the poster’s statement that he hardly posts here anymore.

I have no objective proof of this, but it seems this site had more posters commenting on a greater number of things a few years ago. I do know for a fact that a couple of them still post elsewhere.

When you come to a site and see the same sarcastic comment like “you are the magic” or the same tired memes of Bob Iger appearing in so many threads, it gets tiresome for some despite the fact that the person posting has every right to do so.

Another poster (could be a different thread) noted that too many threads are taken off-topic by the same handful of posters posting the same negative comments about the company. I don’t think that’s a good thing for the site.

It’s just my opinion. I wasn’t saying that disagreeing with someone is harassment. But some of the disagreement includes insulting comments or ridicules people who still enjoy WDW as it is. At the end of the day, most people are initially drawn to a site like WDWMAGIC because they kind of like the place.

I’m afraid you’re not the only one.
Why do I feel like some been favored by admin. It’s not even the disagreement it’s the defeating remarks following it and it just continues from the same person, just comment with some crap, I have a full time job I don’t need this crap just trying to share the love and memories for WDW. Never get blasted like that on the Facebook pages.

This site is tame compared with how some pages are commented on.

And the admins favor no one.

I’ll respond to this love note 🥰

Of course it isn’t. I was commenting on the poster’s statement that he hardly posts here anymore.

People come and go…life changes. I recall a number of people throwing fits and leaving during Covid for perceived slights? It took me literally seconds to recover from some of the dozens of ACTUAL slights I got. Kleenex got me through.

The reality is as far as parks go…there isnt a whole lot coming from Burbank to keep everyone engaged. Since we come here mostly to waste time…the mind wonders.

Lots of DCL things going…and a lot of “concept art” from a local adult art class

Well that was a fundamentally stupid comment. The “I did not inhale” of Disney fandom. Don’t make it so easy, bobs

And the management is expired, not performing well at all, and is in need of replacement.

The horse needs to be put to pasture. That won’t go away until it’s in the pasture. Last spring it was “Save US, Bob!” In a proxy war. And other than a couple animated movies since…their performance is no better at all. Unless you like thrown together ugly DVCs and lighting that doesn’t work and a mess of tangled ticket upsells that make no sense - which is very relaxing.

Another poster (could be a different thread) noted that too many threads are taken off-topic by the same handful of posters posting the same negative comments about the company. I don’t think that’s a good thing for the site.

Usually because there isn’t much going on to discuss. All boards have that happen.

Then it goes to insults - slights - defense - tears - crying to moderators. Blah blah blah

Sure we can do without it. But that would mean never any attacks or fluffing…it’s a tall order

You always think it’s “made fun of for enjoying Disney…”

It never was or is.

It’s holding the company to account for bad decisions…because they suck for everyone. Because some don’t see it yet…I assure you that they will get there without course correction…

Then what? “Sorry…didn’t see it coming”

Some are here for the long game…even me.

Your mocking posts from the other day—thankfully deleted—had nothing to do with holding the company to account. They were a mean-spirited and derisive attack on another poster who’d done absolutely nothing to deserve it.

Yes, thanks for proving my point so well.

And it happens again and again with no end in sight. It’s exhausting.

It is good to see MK is getting back a nighttime parade that was taken away so long ago.

It’s been a long time coming. And all those rumors of PTN coming over from DL lol. Not sure if there really was any truth to it at some point or another until they decided to build a brand new parade. Also curious how far back the plans for Starlight goes since there were rumors of a parade for the 50th until the pandemic happened.

The ABC preview for the show had some background music, it sounded pretty nice I’m wondering if it was stock or if this was some underliner music for the parade or at the least a hint on what it will sound like.

I wonder how long also.

An Imagineer said they were working on the new Gift shop for HM in DLR for 10 years!!

I want to know, what were they doing for the first 9 years and 9 months???!!!???

How many floats do we think are left to be revealed? There’s most likely a Mickey float, but do we think there are any others?

I wish this would have as many floats as Spectromagic which was 37 I believe? The reality is probably 7 or 8. Which would leave one or two floats left to reveal.

Will Peter Pan, Blue Fairy and Frozen be on the same float or separate floats?
