Cars Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios Still Possible?

Just to recap for those just tuning in...
Carsland at DHS is still possible...not very likely...but still possible
Unfortunately the millennium falcon landed right where Radiator Springs Racers was supposed to go. There's still a chance they at least bring back the Lightning McQueen meet and greet

Could Cars Land go in the Echo Lake/ Indiana Jones area?

it could thats probably the most likely place right now
But I keep thinking to myself, SWL could go in the Indiana Jones/ SOA area, and Cars Land could go in the LMA area. The LMA area is about 18 acres.

The problem with that idea is that Muppets would be right in the middle and there are no indications that it's going away any time soon.

It could, but it would take a big budget to remove Indy plus backstage areas and also possibly build out to the parking lot. Plus it would be disconnected from Pixar Place/Toy Story Land. Carsland was a whole lot more likely when we thought SW was going into echo lake/expansion pad and LMA/SOA was phase 3. It made some sense then.
I get the feeling that Echo Lake is staying mostly as is and Indy will eventually just close. It may be replaced by another show or just shuttered. Sounds like phase 3 is either gone or very much scaled down.
I don't know which thread it was, but there was somebody saying that in this part of the Star Wars Land expansion, it could go around Muppets to keep the theme.

Sorry, I don't know what link that is. Going past Muppets would be hard to pull off. It will be interesting to see how SWL will be mapped out. It's puzzling that more information hasn't come out still.

As I've said before, DHS is hiding something from us.

Well, you had all of the insiders saying conflicting information about SWL. Perhaps Disney is still working out the Gand master plan for SWL. It will be interesting to see if Muppets survives a few years down the road and it becomes a Star Wars Expansion. Then Star Tours could be connected to the rest of SWL - that ride has a nice, big capacity.
