Not necessarily. We don't know if star tours is staying or not.

That's true. If Star Tours doesn't stay and moves to Star Wars Land, the former Star Tours building will probably remain as a simulator but with a different theme. But please no Iron Man simulator ride. No sir! That's something I don't want a clone of.

No star tours wouldn't move it would just get rethemed altogether. Iron man can't come to WDW.

No. Get rid of MV3D altogether. Recreating it someplace else would make very little sense. However, if the current area were to need to shut down to make way for SWL then they would need to create an entirely NEW attraction somewhere else. Like over in the current Disney Junior spot.

It should be a live action style Muppets show in the same spirit as The Little Mermaid show there. Make it live action (more then the current version) with 4D effects.
A live Muppet show with actual puppets would be ideal.

So my question: Is it sticking around when SWL opens?
Yes. They wouldn't waste their time or money retheming restaurants and renaming the area only to close it 3 years later. My gut feeling is that Star Tours will not be connected to the rest of SW Land. It will either be re-themed (Guardians of the Galaxy makes a lot of sense) or it just stays Star Tours but is disconnected. The rest of Echo Lake who knows. I can't see the Indy show making it much past the SW Land grand opening. The big question is will the land be reused or will the theater just become a special events venue not open to the general public.

Good point. The Indy Stunt Show I'm guessing will have to eventually close in the next year or so. Why? They should use that area for SWL or phase 3.

No, it needs to stay open until Toy Story and SW Land open. They can't afford to close another huge people eating attraction. Once the new stuff is open it makes no sense to keep it in the new park.

If they were going to close Indy now they could have put SW Land where it made a lot more sense in Echo Lake.

@GoofGoof @Rteetz @DarthFiscus75 @J.D. , I'm heading over to the Star Wars Land Announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios thread to talk about this. Follow me. This tittle of this thread doesn't match what we are talking about. See you there!
