I can't complain I haven't heard any noise from any of the construction and I really enjoy the breakfast and dinner buffet as well as the food truck probably one of the best burgers I've had on Disney property

Thanks for update! Do people still think everything will be finished sometime this summer? Other than the new tower and gondola station.

Was there was week; they're using the phrase "late summer" for new Center Town area to open. Don't know if that also means start/completion of check-in relocating Custom House demolition as well. Also don't know if that means the gondola towers through the property will be done as well or not. They do have the latter staked out in several locations through property and the pretty large.

FWIW-my DD was in DCP this past fall at CBR-her managers were saying "late summer" actually meant "sometime this fall/winter". The construction guys do talk to the managers...but it did appear that the new Center town was going to be a bit later than "late summer" unless by that they meant "October/November"...probably as reliable as the bus drivers LOL!

I’m still hoping with this re-imagining that we see condensed bus stops at this Resort! That’d be a huge bonus.
We are already down Barbados’. They should be able to combine OPR (Calypso) and Martinique!
And Trinidad North and South should become their own individualized island named villages. Trinidad, and Tobago?

so i am late to the threat and to the CBR, but am i reading/seeing correctly that this remodel will include the check-in area now being in the town center where the food/themed pool is? because that would be an improvement.
also, for anyone who is long-standing CBR fan, how are crowds there when its in 'normal' mode. the resort seems huge. i stayed there once a million years ago and because of the sprawl rarely went around the resort. i found the old pool area wickedly too small for the crowd there. the hot tub was the size of a dixie cup. i think the sign literally said: capacity- 3. i was just wondering others' impression.
