Canadian Lumberjack Show to open at Epcot's Canada Pavilion in early October

I really have no interest in the lumberjack show but after six vacations to WDW over the past several years I had no interest in Off Kilter anymore either. We just visited in September and stayed at Beach Club so we were in Epcot quite a bit. The first time I walked by OK they were doing a cover of Johnny Be Good and the second another cover of a song I had no interest in. Once with bagpipes and once without. Neither song made me want to stop and hang out for a while. They were kind of cool when I first saw them years ago but after a while...take off the kilts and lose the bagpipes and all I heard was a band doing a cover of an old song I had no interest in and could see at the local state fair. I'm glad they were being replaced but would rather have seen something more authentic. Lumberjack show seems state fair level to me as well.

This is us. We were not big fans, but the music in the area set a nice atmosphere. I probably would have sat to watch for a bit if there had ever been room on a bench. (Disney, if you read this take it as: with Off Kilter there was NEVER seating room left when we passed by, be it December, February or August.)
I usually park on the half wall by the guitar player as there is NEVER any room on the benches anymore and half the time they are in the direct sun, which being pretty fair skinned I cant take for a long time. I used to be over there on that wall until the gy plants they put over there grew to the point that it wasn't possible to sit there without getting parts of the plant in one's face. Marie

Stopped to watch this afternoon, I can't fathom how anyone would ever watch the new show twice. Boring presentation mixed with bad/corny jokes.

I won't be stopping again any time soon.

Have they made an attempt to change up anything since the first recording here? Praying the answer is yes, and these guys do care about improving the performance.

Well now, it's not like there aren't other folks out there that lifts things word for word from you. ;)

My blog, wdwGeorgeblog.blognetcom, is just that with transition words and the like. For example, here is my most recent post with my additions in red -

"http://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions...e-tree-of-life-at-disney's-animal-kingdom.htm, despite Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party sold out for October 9 and Yep because it contained inappropriate language and should have really deserved a warning, further, Yep it is back open Sat. You can also keep an eye on http://www.wdwmagic.com/refurbishments.htm for the latest dates, and finally let's remember Astro Orbiter reopens with new color scheme"

I feel like I add enough verbage to make the post truly mine and I'm not stealing anything.

Your moral fluidity about such matters is an inspiration to us all.

Over on WDWToday (August live show) @lentesta's co-host Mike Scopa suggested that the new acts are more in line with the culturally relevant acts that originated with World Showcase and that was the motivation, not money. Has anyone else heard this?
