Can you take the monorail from one resort to another?

This is probably a dumb question, but want to make sure I know what I am doing. I am staying at the Contemporary and want to dine at the Grand Floridian. I have never stayed at a resort on the monorail so I am just curious how that works. Can the round trip be done completely on the monorail? Would I have to get off at the Magic Kingdom stop and then grab a GF monorail, and vice versa on the way back?

There's a resort monorail that goes between the 3 hotels.

The monorail loop has stops at the Contemporary, the Transportation & Ticket Center, the Polynesian, Grand Floridian & the Magic Kingdom. You can get on/off at any of those stops.

Like the other stated it stops at the TTC and the 3 resorts, no need to change unless you are going to Epcot.

Which really means, "What time does the 3 o'clock parade get to Frontierland?" or "Will the 3:00 parade begin in Frontierland or on Main Street?" - a legitimate query since the experienced traveler knows the parade route changes depending on crowd levels and time of year, and when trying to plan around fastpass returns and park hopping. Still, on its face that comes across as a "Duh!" question and gives cast members a good excuse to laugh behind your back. :shrug:
