Can something be done about people using words of swear?

Disney could charge for using 'words of swear', probably be a good money maker? Instead of being thrown out for a 'colourful remark' that may slip out, you could purchase a booklet of 'words of swear' tickets. So when your wife decides she wants to use the toilet just as you're leaving after Fantasmic and wanting to beat the traffic (every time unfortunately), if a cast member approaches after hearing you drop an F bomb you hand them a ticket and no more is said.

It would be nostalgic with the ticket books too, only a couple of 'F' and 'C' tickets, quite a few 'T' and 'D' tickets, but mainly most 'S' and 'B' in there.

Yes, they can make all of the WS an F (bomb) ticket...

There needs to be more security informing people that Disney is a place for the young and the family and nobody should be talking as if they are in some bar or locker room with the fellows talking filth. It was pure filth what he say. Neither of my children had ever heard this word until Disney of all places. This should not happen. Please do something or have more security around the park to keep an ear open for filth in front of families who come to create memories not hear swears. It was two gentlemen around two thirty yesterday afternoon but not exact sure. They were walking past America Adventure in the World Showcase toward direction of Italy when he shout to his friend YOU ARE FULL OF C I will not repeat the rest but it was loud enough to be hear by us who were across path going to direction of Morocco and Japan. We could not find any security and did not want to bother other cast mem not responsible for this. But please remind people who come to this place that Disney is family fun for all ages. Thank you.

I don't know what you would expect security to do. Even if they were there to reprimand people for bad language, wouldn't this be a case of he said, she said. That's if they would even bother at all. I don't condone that use of language in disney(unless warranted), but that doesn't make it illegal. Not even sure its grounds to be removed from the park.

I'd probably break the "swear" rule once I ran into the miniature horse. The utterance of a well placed "W.T.F" wouldn't be long to follow.

Does that include words I say around my own family? How about when my kid runs over my foot with a suitcase? Just askin' for a friend...

It just specifies no profanity “towards or Cast Members or other guests.” So, I’d imagine that things you *can* use words of swear toward would include (but not be limited to): family, the sun, birds trying to eat food off your table, afternoon storms, construction barriers at Epcot, PA or app notifications that Rise of the Resistance is down again and your group won’t be called (also acceptable to curse at your phone if you don’t get a boarding group in the first place), etc…

This whole thread is craptastic! The funny part is "crap" is actually the cleaned up version for another word that's profane.

If nothing else, my appreciation for this thread is that it has forever changed my life. I will for now on refer to profanity as "words of swear" when the opportunity presents itself. It will eventually become a running joke in my group of friends and family, and with any luck in 20 or 30 years will become a normal phrase used in American culture. Sort of like how at some point someone said, "it's all that and a bag of chips." I mean, that phrase makes little if any sense, but that caught on in the 90s and beyond, and most people are familiar with it. Hopefully in the 2040s "words of swear" will be a regular ridiculous phrase people use. 😁
