Can something be done about people using words of swear?

Were they British? I *think* some English use that word as a regular (?) swear word. 😬 I’m not defending because I don’t care to hear a bunch of profane language there myself either. I’m not saying I’ve never slipped up and said something ever but some are absolutely ridiculous.

Anyone else really disappointed that it wasn't THE C WORD? I wanted to see her retell the rest of that conversation. Vulgar as it may be, that would have at least made for some interesting chatter...like situations in the World Showcase that could warrant proper use of THE C WORD.

I do have one critique for OPs methods...if you're going to sit your kids down and talk to them about offensive words they may or may not have heard, at least ensure your lesson includes instructions so said words can be repeated in the proper context. That way, when they repeat them (because you know they will), you can have that proud parent moment that they at least know how to use what you've chosen to give them. I'll never forget the day my kids properly dropped their first F bombs 😂

Yeah I'll bite, I was disappointed. I mean, to spark a 12 page thread I would have hoped we were talking about the C word that rhymes with both football and baseball terms. :)

This piece of c-word would have been better if it had taken place in DHS when you needed to be in the park in the morning to get a boarding group for ROTR. IMHO that would have at least been more colorful

This seems more of an opinion than a research paper.

But, seriously, I do have to catch myself when I'm at WDW, and try to reserve my cussing to flipping the bird behind the backs of the Disney Karens ahead of us on POTC who had a problem with my daughter and I singing along to the song on the attraction. From now on, we should all watch our language when we are visiting parks of theme.

due to the recent announcement as to who gets the extra evening magic hours, maybe we’ll see a bit more guests swearing in the parks
Right? How can people continue to fork over thousands of dollars for diminishing returns? Curse their heads off. Regain composure. And then, buy that cupcake. Rinse and repeat.

It just seems odd to me (and others), that people are trying to make a case for swearing/cursing as a "good" thing to make us a better society. 🤷‍♂️
