I took “words of swear” to be an attempted genteelism, but perhaps you’re right. If her post was earnest, I do hope she hasn’t been too badly stung by all the comments it generated!ESL was just my impression. Her syntax and grammar were off, and some of her diction was just weird: it reminded me of some of the things I read, written by students, when I was studying to teach English as a Second Language. For example, "words of swear," "grownup would never say such thing," "it register that is exactly what he say," "I ask my children" (but intending past tense), "locker room with the fellows," "filth what he say," "not exact sure," "be hear by us," "he shout to his friend," etc.
It's also possible she's just a really poor writer. Maybe I was trying too hard to give her the benefit of the doubt.
Hey! We don't need any of that sugar-honey iced tea around here!I’m not going to lie…. I legit thought this post was about the “see you next Tuesday” C-word…. Not about the word “crap”… I’m not condoning anything and not judging anyone… just surprised is all.
I am sincerely sorry.Hey! We don't need any of that sugar-honey iced tea around here!
It was a troll…but a pretty amusing one.I’m not going to lie…. I legit thought this post was about the “see you next Tuesday” C-word…. Not about the word “crap”… I’m not condoning anything and not judging anyone… just surprised is all.
You’re not the only one who looked side eye at the initial post.ESL was just my impression. You’ve heard of her? You must not have been living under a rock. /sI think this is just confirmation that Olivia Rodrigo will be featured in American Adventure, since she curses like a sailor in her new album.
This.100% a troll.
I wonder if she used any of her words of swear around the Chief Executive...You’ve heard of her? You must not have been living under a rock. /s
was that from johnny dangerously?
Indeed it is.
The OP has violated his fargin rights.
“Imma gonna put your bells in a sling you bastage.”

Because the Voices of Liberty were not performing under the AA dome anymore? The acoustics were excellent when they did.I kid you not….I was just walking past the American Adventure and heard somebody saying words of swear.
It was out on the promenade.Because the Voices of Liberty were not performing under the AA dome anymore? The acoustics were excellent when they did.
figuring out which C word it was was quite the twist in this storyOh crap. Something really should be done about such crappy behavior. We can’t have children’s minds crapped up with crappy language by their parents who are repeating crappy vulgarities.
