Buying tickets on Ebay?

I have seen a lot of Disney tickets available on Ebay. Has anyone ever purchased tickets on Ebay and have the ever had trouble with the tickets once they got to the park?

I asked him if he sold over 4,000 items that is what started it.

No, you asked a question and answered it yourself. Since you think you know the answer I asked you to prove it. Which you have not. Further, I am not going to relay any of my ebay information to you because frankly, its none of your business.

And even further than my prior further, my part of this conversation is over before I post something I might regret.

I have 100% positive feedback on ebay. I think I will go and sell an old keycard just to prove a point.

(note....I was just proving a point above, I am not going to sell an old key card just to make a point....)[/quote

If your gonna attack me at least remember what your talking about:brick:

Huhwhahuh? How does that prove anything? You're saying he can't possibly have over 4 thousand items sold on ebay. He's asking how you can know that? This quote mentions nothing about the number of items he's sold, so how is that proof?

I agree like I said before never buy used theme park tickets from anyone including Ebay because you don't know many days are left on the ticket if any. My guess is that this seller is a broker of somekind where the seller is getting these tickets I don't know. The seller could be getting the tickets from an international company because Disney gives more of a discount to international companies then to companies like AAA or timeshares. Theme park ticket fraud is a multimillion-dollar business with the ticket prices the way they are you will always find people trying to take advantage of the system.
I take it you sell tickets online...

Otherwise, why are you such a staunch supporter of eBay tickets? :veryconfu

Buying WDW tickets on eBay is just asking for trouble. There's no way to KNOW you are not being taken... I don't care about reputation or anything else. Ticket media is non-transferrable so trying to buy it on eBay is suspect at best.

Here, I took my comments out of the debate, to hopefully make the matter clearer...

And you know this how?

I know this because of the previous comment you made, you didn't prove anything

So what about my previous comment makes you so certain?

Someone with 100% feedback and has sold more then 4,000 items wouldn't try and sell a used key card

I did answer the question you just can't seem to figure it out
(followed by)
Anyone who is regular seller with over 4,000 items sold would not make a statement like you did, that's how I know
BTW you still haven't proved anything

Prove what? You are the one who made the unsubstantiated statement.

because like I said earlier I'm the one who asked the question about the number of items. I am not talking about his quote on the feedback, I am talking about my question to him. It takes quite a long time to build up over 4,000 worth of feedback so when he made the statement of selling a used key card, nobody with that much feedback would even attempt to sell something like that and have his account erased that is what I am talkiing about. If I explained it wrong earlier then I apologize.

It's not that I'm a big supporter all I was saying is my friend bought Disney tickets on Ebay and is enjoying himself right now with no problems with the tickets. And if Disney really cared about people selling their tickets on Ebay I'm pretty sure they would have done something about by now.

BTW I have sold tickets on Ebay

I suspect, then, that you never saw this part of Hakunamatata's post (and admittedly, he originally wrote it in extremely small print):

Quote from Hakunamatata
(note....I was just proving a point above, I am not going to sell an old key card just to make a point....)

If you look back at his post, and subsequent posts where you quoted him, it's always been there.

But HIS question to YOU has always been "How can you know how much feedback I've received?" You're basing your answer on an opinion-"Nobody with that much feedback would risk losing it by selling a used key card"-even though he said from the beginning that he would never really do that, he was just trying to illustrate a point here. And even then, it's specious logic on your part, but no matter. The point is, he had no intention of selling a used key card, he admitted as such immediately, so if that's the line you're using to prove your point, then the point is moot...

And THAT, wannab@dis, is why I posted the transcript. :D

I always thought making a point and proving a point were two different things. he took back making a point but I thought he was still trying to prove a point that is why I was asking him to prove it. If hakuna meant the same thing then I apologize. Yes I am basing my answer on opinion but I know a lot of people who use Ebay and they wouldn't risk all those years of work to get an account erased because the higher the rating the more people that will buy your stuff thus making the price go up as well. Do you know people that use Ebay? and if so ask them if they are willing to take a risk because if they are regular users then they will agree with me.

Guys...enough already!

As mentioned earlier, the question has been answered. If you want to be SURE that the tickets you buy for WDW will get you into the park, be sure to purchase them from a legitimate WDW ticket vendor.
