Crazy stuff. Anytime I get on a bus and everyone is standing I just think of how safe this isnt.
Funny, I would have said New Jersey.![]()
Being from North Florida, I'd have said Ohio...![]()
Being from Ohio, I'd have said Michigan! :ROFLOL: :lookaroun
Seriously, those guys are crazy.
When i worked at Disney I was on cast member bus to go to MK, we were in a backstage area and came to an intersection where we had no stop sign but the other directions did.
A small car went through the stop sign without even slowing down and slammed into the side of the bus. Honestly it was a minor bump and I thought we ran up over the curb until the bus driver stopped and ran off the bus.
The front end of the car was totaled and we couldn't see anyone in the car...there were only a couple of us on the bus and we all got off to see if we could help.
We found a girl crumpled under the steering wheel. There was no way she had a seatbelt on. She was concious and talking and kept saying she was on her way to work. One girl recognized her costume as a main street vendor and while the driver contact an ambulance, she called MK CM services and told them about the accident.
I checked in with another vendor at MK a few weeks later and was told the girl was OK but had been in the hospital for a few days.
She was a lucky girl...it could have been much worse
My one regret was I didn't get the bus drivers name.Nicely done, you likely saved his job!:sohappy:
Not to make light of the situation...and I'm glad no one was hurt...but Disney should have fired her. She not only endangered herself but Disney guests as well...what if it hadn't been a bus, but another car that she hit?
