Erika, I sincerely apologize! I didn't realize that you were in WDW and I sent the bad weather to Dawn...which you got too. Once I realized that you were down there, I told the weather to be good for you (and, as I was informed by Dawn...it was beautiful) I hope you had a great time!

So true, Erika! Ah, that below-zero wind chill...so refreshing!

Disneyprep50321, it's just so darned cold for so long here that it gets old MONTHS before the picturesque thrill has worn off!

My problem is that when you go shopping for clothes everything is for cold weather down here at this time of year but so hot we cant wear it unless we go some place cooler thats why I want cold air down here:(

A friend of mine just sent me a list of ways to tell you live in upstate New York, and included were these two:

-You design your kids' Halloween costumes to fit over a snowsuit!

-You are familiar with all four seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and construction!

Very true Figmentmom! I live in upstate NY and it snowed here last Wed. It didn't stick for too long and only amounted to about 1" of wet snow, but now it seems that there is a mad dash to get all the paving and construction finished. You can't go anywhere without running into traffic from roadcrews trying to hurry and get everything finished before it really snows for good!

Just came in...it's a brisk 44 degrees outside...but it looks and feels like some snow is on it's way  (only crying because if it hits for the commute in the morning...I could be looking at a 3 hour ride)

You guys out there by the Great Lakes do, indeed, get hammered by lake effect snow. Here in the Adirondacks, we get more of a steady snowfall that starts falling in October and doesn't quit 'til May! Not terribly dramatic, but by March, we all have cabin fever!
