I hand my vote for oddest (yet very amusing) avatar to JuniorTOT...

There's something about a FlapJACKRABBIT that just makes me laugh.

Hey...well, how about this..just for YOU...you can live through me...

Right now...it's a brisk 45 degrees, the leaves have completely turned (beautiful oranges, reds, and yellows)... A flowing rainbow of coloration as you drive down the country roads. Some of the weaker leaves line the sides of the streets and the smell of Autumn fills the air. Frost covers the formerly green grass.

Ok...now can I have some 80 degree weather?
Told you this before.. you want that sort of weather you should come visit me :). Oh and I don't have the humidity *hehe*.

Actually it's pretty outside today... :) :) a little cloudy but that's okay. I hope it's really nice on friday night for homecoming.

That is NOT how you wake up a princess Bri. You do that you're likely to get a pillow thrown at you LOL.

Hmm.. I'm always nice.. you know that :-p. And I'm also kinda down today.. cause the Giants won last night (and you know what THAT means in this apartment.. my roommate was ohhh so happy last night and wrote Giants rules type things all over my white wash board :().

Other two could care less about Sports.. I think Annie was kinda mad about the fact that I had to go flipping back and forth from Dawson's Creek (she was watching) to the game (I was watching) lol.

Oh and you missed a GOOD Birds of Prey last night!

*curls up on Brian's lap and uses him as a pillow* :)

First of all, I would kill for the scene you described there... breathtaking.

As for sharing some of my weather, sure... It's a little cooler than usual and what's going on here probably isn';t what you8're looking for, buyt turn about is fair play, I always say...
Right now, here in north/Central Florida it is raining. Thus, instead of the typical cloudless 8- degree days we get here in GAinesville this time of year, it's a muggy, muggy 73 degrees...
However, as I look out the window of my house and watch the raindrops find their way through the dense foliage of the natural mini-forrest in my backyard, I know the rain will stop soon. Eventually, I'll be able to go outside and who knows... maybe, once the sun goes down, the temp will make it all the way down to 68 or something.
Will wonders never cease...

Sounds actually halfway nice....but I really enjoy having the seasons...I can't imagine christmas without having to go to my parent's house all bundled up in winter coats, gloves, and hats.

Just adds something to it.

There are a lot of people who have never seen over 3 inches of snow at a time. And we complain about it...we do, but there is something magical about waking up in the morning with a fresh snowfall on the ground totally undisturbed by people. It's all so quiet and serene. We had that last week here with the 5 inches. Today it's up around 35 and sunny, so it's starting to turn to slush, but most places still have snow, but the roads are dry, which is a bonus.

Ah, yes, those crisp, clear autumn days...apple-cheeked toddlers cavorting in piles of freshly-raked leaves..cups of steaming mulled cider... blazing fireplaces...escalating heating bills...scraping three inches of sleet off your windshield after the first ice storm...gas line freeze...watching the city snowplow shove the three feet of snow you just finished shoveling right back onto the foot of your driveway...

Of course, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day without snow wouldn't be the same - and what's a school year without those occasional snow days?

I was visiting my paretns for Christmas last year... it was in the high 80s... Actually, it might have been in the low 90s.
I hate Florida... Except for that one area near Orlando... I like it there.

P.S. The rain has stopped... it's 78 degrees right now... it's 6:19 p.m.

ugh... :brick:

ROFLMAOSMTIH!!!

Well, that pretty much sums it up...

(You are right about Xmas Eve and Xmas day though...)

Just think...Christmas Eve, turn on the TV and they are playing the Christmas Story for the 23rd time...and you're drinking your egg nog and the smell of pine from the Christmas tree eminates through the house...the fire is burning, the christmas songs are playing low in the background and the frenzy of wrapping presents commences... Hot apple cider is in the process of being made and the christmas cookies are coming out of the oven. You look outside and see the flakes falling by the millions...and that's when you know...it's Christmas...

(Oh yeah...it's currently 38 degrees...and it's going to drop to 18 tonight...JOY!)

Maybe I should just give up and plan a mountain trip with friends??

fly on out Ang...plenty of ski resorts up here...
Bring the whole clan...granted...it's no Colorado...but there are some pretty decent ski resorts up here. BIG resorts.

I love skiing...the best part is when you're there...and I'm talking AFTER the skiing...you get in, your feet are killing you...you're exhausted...you go up to your room, take a warm shower...throw a sweater on, and go down and sit in the lodge with a hot cup of Cocoa and sit in front of the fireplace and just talk to people :)

Skiing...it's great!
