Bring the whole clan...granted...it's no Colorado...but there are some pretty decent ski resorts up here. BIG resorts.

I love skiing...the best part is when you're there...and I'm talking AFTER the skiing...you get in, your feet are killing you...you're exhausted...you go up to your room, take a warm shower...throw a sweater on, and go down and sit in the lodge with a hot cup of Cocoa and sit in front of the fireplace and just talk to people

Actually I was talking about going sking in Cali up in the mountains here.. much cheaper than flying to Mass hon. LOL And we have som nice mountains here as well.. and rather close to my house.. just not close enough for us to get snow every year .

Actually the lodge does sound fun to me.. I love hot cocoa... and fireplaces .. *sighs* okay lonely again

why must we discuss snow??? BRRRR!!!! I hate snow! We just had little flurries flying today and I was all "STOP SNOWING STOP SNOWING" Gah! Lake effect snow is NOT something I am looking forward too...WAY too much of it and it's not like regular snow....it's weird....

and I think i might try snowboarding this year!!! who wants to come laugh at me?

(You are right about Xmas Eve and Xmas day though...)

Just think...Christmas Eve, turn on the TV and they are playing the Christmas Story for the 23rd time...and you're drinking your egg nog and the smell of pine from the Christmas tree eminates through the house...the fire is burning, the christmas songs are playing low in the background and the frenzy of wrapping presents commences... Hot apple cider is in the process of being made and the christmas cookies are coming out of the oven. You look outside and see the flakes falling by the millions...and that's when you know...it's Christmas...

(Oh yeah...it's currently 38 degrees...and it's going to drop to 18 tonight...JOY!)

Yep, that's a perfect Christmas, all right - and I sure hope this year's is no exception!! And, to make it TRULY perfect, I want to wake up on the 26th to sunny skies and 82 degrees!!!:lol:

NO NO NO...the day AFTER is when you bundle up the kiddies that have come in from out of state and go sledding with their new "rides" lol (the day after THAT is when the 82 degree weather can hit :lol: )

I also don't like to go skiing and go into the lodge and be hot!

Skiing weather is hit or miss...it's either too hot or too cold! I hate those cold sweats! :hurl:

You obviously didn't catch what I said :lol:
After you have a fun day of skiing...(yes, you're all sweaty and gross and you hurt)...you go to the room, hop in the shower (sooooo refreshing) and then head down to the lodge (no sweat and ickiness anymore )

Hmm weather was perfect for the parade and rally last night.. and it looks just lovely today. After I take a shower and blow dry my hair and all that good stuff I'm thinking about going into westwood to study and have something at Starbucks. Maybe I'll run into the cute guy I met last night LMAO.
