Wuss

It's 37 degrees here right now and the sun isn't even down yet. I think our high all week here is going to be like 45.

I always laugh when I go to someplace like FL or CA and it's in the 60's and I have shorts or short sleeves on and the natives are all in Sweaters and coats.

A good hard winter builds strength. Otherwise ya get too soft :)

We've been waking up to 30s and 40s--

And I am STILL going out in my bare feet to get the paper.

Travis, you need to take those sweaters off and spend some time in the Cool Zone

Well it is strange I grew up in the north!!! But I must have gotten use to the heat. I remember back in High school if it was near 60 we broke out the shorts.

It's a bit early, but not unheard of....with highs in the mid 30's all week, it looks like it'll stick around, too.

Still not as bad as our first snowfall last year that dumped 17 inches of snow on us.:D

Well Freak might be a Weather God, but I specialize in snow. I grew up in Pittsburgh, but spent a year in San Jose, CA. While we were there, they got their first snow in something like 20 years. We got about 1/4 inch, and everyone went crazy. They closed down school and all the kids were trying to make snowmen that were 25% snow, 50% mud and 25% grass while my brother and I just watched, amazed.

Another time I visited my aunt in Columbia South Carolina and they got 17" of snow while I was there. They had the greatest time with it, but, again, I wondered what all the fuss was about.

So anyway, mid January I'm predicting snow for Orlando.

I only wish. I had snow a few times in the past. Flurries a lot in GA & TX, but only once did I have REAL snow. This was in Texas around '85-'88 I think. My grandparents & I made a 3 foot tall snowman outside from it & I just thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I don't want to be shoveling the driveway every morning, but I want enough snow to play in & darn it, I want a white christmas!!!! A cabin, in the mountains with a fireplace, hot chocolate & snow...perfect Christmas!
